I changed out the existing 2 axis scales on my Series 1 Bridgeport so I’m auctioning off what I no longer need. So up for bid is a complete Sony Magnescale Bridgeport or Bridgeport clone digital readout(DRO) system. The system includes two(2 each) SR-2711 scales; one for the x-feed(42” table) and one for the y feed. The display is an LF-200 that reads out in inches. There is a switch on the side of the readout for 0.0001. 0.0002, and mm. I cleaned off everything as best I could, but there is still a little bit of dried water soluble oil on the cables and in some nooks and crannies. It has white paint applied around push buttons- See photos 12" scale reads as it should on both X& Y channels. 18" scale is not working properly as it goes to error when traveling. Might be able to clean it up? I recently upgraded my Bridgeport Mill with a newer unit and this DRO was on it. The 12" scale reads good. The 18" scale goes to error when traveling. I swapped the scale channels and tested it to make sure the scale was the issue. It read fine with 12" scale on both channels. I did not try to clean up 18" scale to see if I could get it working. The readout itself seems to be in good used condition. It does have minor marks, scratches and stains from use. It has two inputs. Each input has two different plug selections– one is a 6 prong plug and the other is a 7 prong plug. There also is a reading selector switch as shown in the photo for each input. This unit was made in the U.S.A. It comes complete with a 110 Volt cord. On the front. Each input has a direction button also a diameter/radius button and also a zero button. There is also a mm/inch selector button. As mentioned already. This unit when plugged in powers up fine. Both X and Y displays read clearly.
