DRO PROS EL-400 3-axis Digital Readout (Mill or Lathe)
Selling a DRO PROS EL400 3-axis with magnetic scales. I originally purchased this for my Grizzly G0704. Scales have been cut to the following dimensions: 13" outside) 11" inside) 17.5" outside) 15.5" inside) 25.5" outside) 23.5" inside) Scales up to 20' long are available directly from DRO PROS. Magnetic scales can be cut to any length and can't be contaminated. Unit has a six-year warranty. Please see pictures for everything that is includes. NOTE: While I do have two mounting brackets for the reader heads. I think it is better to build your own reader mounts as the'universal' mounts are fairly bulky. SIEG SX3(Super X3 SIEG) Bench Top Milling Machine with DRO(scales and readout + extra NEW scale) The extra scale has a range of 10 in.250mm. Extra x.Y, and z axis screws(the mill is equipped with a metric-mm- set and the extra set are in inches) I kept the metric screw set on because the DRO provides inch measurements and hence never needed to keep track of dials. It could be convenient to have simultaneous measures of position(in. mm) but don't really know(it never crossed my mind until now) Anyway. If the mm screw set up bothers you the inch screw can easily be installed. I purchased the mill a few years back and used it very lightly until I attained a Clausing and then it just sat covered in my garage. The machine(and DRO) runs on 220V. Grizzly G-1006 with 3 axis DRO. Z axis scale is a little jumpy. Which I have been told is a bracket issue, but I have not personally investigated this. Includes milling vice and all of the hold downs shown as well as the end mills in the photo. Shop-made rolling base with casters that lock using angle iron(included) Also has the link belt for less vibration during operation. This is heavy and awkward. So please make sure you have the correct equipment and tools to move something like this when you come to pick it up(engine hoist, crane, etc) I can tell you from experience that a lift gate truck makes life a whole lot easier when transporting something like this. Not sure what all is wrong however the head and controls and table are all there the table is about 58 inches by 11 inches. These babies hold their value because of the larger frame. Shars 3 axis DRO display and scales. Fits mini mill, lathe, others
This is a Shars 3-axis digital scale readout with two stainless steel scales. Display has three backlit LCD readouts with resolution to.0005" Will display in imperial or metric. Case has a magnet inside and holds securely to ferrous metal surfaces. There are some minor scratches on the back of the case. Some were there when I bought it. Some are from use, none will in any way affect the unit. Scales are stainless steel and battery operated and are specified to be accurate to.0005" Will display imperial or metric. I had this installed on a Jet JMD-15 benchtop mill/drill. Same machine as a Rong Fu RF30. Bolton, Grizzly, etc. Works great, and easy to fit. The only reason I quit using it is that the update frequency from the scales to the display is fairly slow, and that means you have to be careful about your dimension making cuts ... morethe last 1/4" or so. I suppose different scales might update faster, but I used this quite successfully for several years. Can't beat the price or the simplicity, that's for sure. It's a fraction of what a real DRO costs. Newall C80 Digital Read Out/ DRO Used but in full working order. The X and Y axis scales on the machine were destroyed during a move so this DRO unit was removed to'de-clutter' the machine.
