The ones I have seen at the'Vox Showroom- show a red panel for the Rose Morris Top Boost which is where I am confused as this amp clearly has the earlier vintage grey panel and mustard Mullard caps. The speakers appear to be the light blue Fane ceramics. This is about all I can tell as far as it's vintage. It is an awesome sounding amp and everything seems to be in working order. I don't play as much as I used to and am letting go of some of my music gear I don't use too much anymore. I am selling this amp'as-is' and the buyer will have to pay the shipping cost's(Sorry. Vox Continental Organ/Keyboard Vintage Mid 60's..Working
Up for sale is this nice vintage 1960's Vox"Continental" rock organ. It all works except for one note not sounding(first octave B) when the"4' white drawbar" is pulled out alone. It DOES sound however on all the other drawbar settings. Or in combinations,etc. Only other issue is the red"M" slider volume goes down when pulled all the way out. I play tested this myself hooking it up to a small amp and it's in tune, and now just play tested again going through all the keys for each individual drawbar. Comes with the flight case. AC cord, wooden keys, vibrato switch,mains switch,etc. This one was made in SoCal under liscense from the Jennings company in the UK. Unfortunately there's no stand or footswitch. Anyone out there know what the heck this is? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Guitar is in very nice condition but the action is a little high. Seems like any easy fix to just take some wood off the bridge. Has hardshell case that is in not so great shape. Lots of weather checking that did not show up in pictures. Pickups read out at 4.30K for neck 4.57K for middle and 4.60 for bridge but when combined these increase in ohms as seen in pictures. This may vary depending on room temperature and meter. A lot of guitars the pickups decrease in ohms when combined. Please ask all questions before bidding or call 830-377-9668 for I sometimes have a problem receiving emails. The neck is one-piece sycamore. With a width at the nut of just 1 5/16" Very thin indeed. This two-tone brown-black burst of this bass is an unusual feature; the vast majority were red. Although white is also listed in Vox literature. The compensating bridge is similar to that of a Fender Precision basically a stamped metal plate. Electronically. The Vox bassmaster is very simple: two pickups, with just one volume and one tone control. The Vox bassmaster does not allow the selection of individual pickups. 2 PROJECT 60's Vox Pickups Phantom, Mark VI, BullDog, Teardrop, Bobcat Spitfire
This is a pair of Vox pickups. Each has one broken plastic end tab and one intact end tab. I have seen people rig them into the surrounds and make them usable even when both tabs are broken. One has been rigged with a piece of plastic. The other is waiting to be fixed. But there's an original broken off end piece that's included. Also included are: 3 original springs, and one non-original, 3 original and one non-original screws, and 2 threaded inserts. The pickups read 5.8 and 9.9 ohms and have 4 inches and 6 inches of original wire, respectively. Vox used these pickups on most of their electric guitars such as Mark VI and XII, Phantom, Spitfire, Bobcat, Bulldog, Lynx and others.

I believe this to be a 1969 Violin Style Vox Bass from the serial number 291309. I plays. Sounds great, has a few dings, but is in over all nice condition, has crazing on the finish. I tried to take as many detailed pictures as I could so you could get an idea of condition and if everything is original. Olivia's Vintage would like to present this original 1960's Vox Astro IV hollowbody bass that was made in Italy. It features built-in Distortion(Fuzz) Treble/bass boost, and a G tuner. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original and 100% complete(with the exception of two decorative caps from two of the knobs) and still has its original hardshell case(the handle is broken) This Astro IV look great with some nicks + dings, a couple finish cracks, and other cosmetic wear including some small areas where cracks go into the surface of the wood. These small cracks are typical for Vox guitars, and are merely cosmetic as everything remains structurally sound. All electronics work and sound great. This is the type of speaker that was used by VOX in the 1960's JMI era VOX AC30 and is a recommended favorite for the Marshall JTM45 I was told these were harvested from a larger vintage Vox amp like an AC100 or Super Beatle. I purchased them through eBay several months ago. They are in great shape in both appearance and sound(see the pics) I don’t have any information about the history of these items before they came into my possession but both Celestions have 003 period correct cones made in England under the JMI VOX name. Both speakers sound excellent. They are very well matched. That is why I decided to sell them as a pair rather than split them up. Check out ... morethe photos for details. Both cone codes are pictured and end with 003. It is the manufacturers code for the celestion alnico speakers made between 1964– 1970. The cone codes are printed directly on the paper indicating that these are the 1960’s Celestion speakers that are so desirable for VOX chime and sensitivity. I had them installed into a new reproduction AC30 extension cabinet from North Coast Music when I purchased them. They are a great match for my VOX SRT AC30 head. Fortunately or maybe unfortunately…right after I had ordered the North Coast cabinet and bought these speakers… I was insanely lucky enough to find an actual original 1966 AC30 VOX extension cabinet with the original speakers from the UK where my 1964 SRT head was made so…you can figure out the rest. I found myself with two excellent speaker cabs. The interesting thing is that I was able to see the speakers from the original 1966 AC30 cabinet. They are identical to the speakers in this auction(and also have 003 cones) The sound from both cabinets is the same brilliant defiant Vox sound that launched a generation of musicians. VINTAGE FUSE HOLDER 1970- late 1980s Version Littelfuse manufactured the 341-series of multi-color fuse holders for more than a half century. The part listed here was the version they made from approximately 1970 through the late 1980s. It was the one used on many amplifiers by Acoustic Control. Sunn. And Vox USA. And others. There are three features unique to this version: Fuse cap color is the most red of all versions Fuse cap is flush with the outer bezel Outer bezel is perfectly round and smooth- No notches on each side. And no lettering on the front Includes metal hex nut. Lockwasher, and neoprene washer. These are very old unused New-Old-Stock parts that may be dusty or have minor nicks. The Vox electric organ, and a series of innovative but commercially unsuccessful electric guitars and bass guitars. Founded in Kent, England, Vox has been owned by the Japanese electronics firm Korg since 1992. This is a killer vintage bass! Sounds really good and has super tone and vibe! Original case. Pickups and electronics work immaculately. Body has lots of checking and crackle in the finish. Very nice construction. If you have played the Hofner Beatle bass. This plays and sounds very similar to the older early 60's ones. This is an exceptionally nice example and has the more rare and better looking black plastic knobs and pickup covers. Bridge pickup missing its original ring as it probably broke away. Neck is really playable and nice. Has some awesome old flatwounds on it which sound great and should never be removed! All in all it has been very well taken care of and played gently. This is a Vox guitar pickup with springs. Screws and threaded inserts. The plastic end tabs are intact, and not broken like many others. The pickups read 5.70. If you want a clean one, this is not it. It looks like someone tried to clean it with steel wool or some other abrasive, and it is all scratched up. Please zoom the pics and you'll see. Vox used these pickups on most of their electric guitars such as Mark VI and XII. Phantom, Spitfire, Bobcat, Bulldog, Lynx and others.

Vox- T-25 Bass Amp Combo This amp is in good working order. There are quite a few rips in the tolex. Sounds good. The T-25 combo bass amp was introduced in 2000. The T-25 combo amp had one 10" bass speaker and one tweeter horn in a closed back. Medium density fiber board enclosure. The twenty five power amp featured a volume control and four tone controls. Dual input jacks were provided. One input was for a bass with passive pickups, and a second, less sensitive input was for basses with active pickups. A push button"Bassilator" switch boosted low frequency response. A head phone jack allowed for quiet practice with the speaker muted. The T-25 works well as a practice amp. Description This is pretty much as good as it gets when it comes to wah pedals. This is a Vox V847A wah pedal that has been modified by Keeley Electronics. Ugrades include true bypass switching. Bright blue LED to indicate operation, dual Fasel inductors with selection switch, bass response toggle switch(three settings) and a midrange/volume control. The components used are of the highest quality and the work done at the Keeley shop is absolutely top notch. I bought this pedal new about a year ago for $270. This 50th anniversary series amp was already a great Vox tube amp as a faithful reproduction of the Jennings Musical Industries(JMI) specs from the late 1950s and early 1960s(the early JMI AC15 only had the EF86 channel) You simply cannot beat the versatility of having a top boost channel and a EF86 channel. Especially when combined with the power options(reducing the wattage, etc. If you were ever thinking of getting a vintage JMI Vox amp but don't want to spend upwards of $4000, here's your chance to have the tone without all of the price. The first major upgrade I made was installing a vintage late 1960s JMI-Vox(Celestion) 12" AlNiCo 1088 speaker with the original speaker cone made in Great Britain. The original speaker cone is in good ... morecondition and sounds amazing! There is a small spot that was repaired before I bought the speaker but doesn't affect the sound. The speaker definitely has the vintage tone and characteristics that these vintage speakers are know for(and of course it is loud) It is a must hear and greatly enhances the tone. The second major upgrade was replacing the output transfer and choke with Mercury Magnetics tone-clones which are hand-wound to the specs of the early 1960s Wooden transfers used in the JMI Vox amps. It made a huge difference and with the vintage JMI-Vox speaker made it sound simply amazing. The serial is stamped"02958" The organ was tuned and adjusted to perfect playing condition by a very well known organ technician in Minneapolis. MN during 2007. After that it was placed in climate controlled storage. I do not have an amp to test it's current playability. The organ is believed to have been previously used as a touring piece because someone painted the word"Organ" with an arrow pointed at the handle is painted on the bottom of the instrument. Vox 'Booster' amp V836 1967 rarebird, recently serviced.
This is the'Super Beatle' power amp section. Vox made these to'slave' from a Super Beatle for an additional 120 watts. But you can plug ANY amp into it and get an extra 120 watts of transistorized Vox power! No onboard preamp, just a bridged low impedance input so it's looking for your'extension speaker' jack. Cosmetically, it's about a 6+, a few scuffs and dings& dust. The knob for the volume control was missing when I got it but I hear they're easy to get. Otherwise, it's all there. I've had it a couple of years and finally had it serviced. Wow! Set it on a Vox Sovereign cab, plug a Fender Deluxe Reverb into it and blow your walls out. I get by on 15 watts so it needs to find a new home. You Vox collectors know what it is so here ya go!

With a two teisco pickups, tremolo tone and volume knobs, I believe its all original, the pick guard has some little cracks and chips visible in the pictures the guitar sounds good test it and the selector switches respond both pickups respond, the las 3 frets are buzzing in the first string, needs to be adjusted it has 4 strings so will need new strings, selling as found, in good condition for a 43 year old guitar low starting bid, will take the neck off to for shipping due to bad experiences in sending guitars. Vox AC1 ultra small amp. Rhythm machine built in, 2 x 3" speakers, nearly new, surprisingly good sounding. I bought this to take on vacation, took it to Hawaii, and found that I am more of a tourist than guitarist. Now that I am back home I don't think I'll use it much so I'd rather send it on its way.
