As you can see it was calibrated back in 2012 by CSI Calibration Services. Due again in April of this year. It was fortunate that it went to CSI. As otherwise I would have had no idea what the thing was, but they were kind enough to mark it on their calibration sticker. The unit looks nice and powers right up as you can see in the pictures. When I tried to get beyond the initial screen it comes up asking for a Passcode; it looks like perhaps the code is already there. but when I hit enter it just goes back to the main screen showing load, strain, and pressure. So I am uncertain as to whether you would need to procure the passcode in order for it to be usable. ... moreHumboldt is still in business. This is an Advantech ADAM-4055 data acquisition module. It has 8 channels in. 8 channels out. There is an LED status indicator for each input/output channel, as well as for power. This unit was pulled from a working research assembly- I have seen this unit powered on. But have no way to test it now. It has been stored in a dry, safe location since disassembly, so I am confident it is fully operational. In fact, while it was in operation, it was mounted in a watertight stainless steel enclosure, so it has never been exposed to moisture as far as I am aware of. According to Google Shopping. Traxxas .15 engine with gas tank and muffler setup for DAQ experiment
Ok here I have a used.15 pro with an aluminum polished head. This came off of my Traxxas Rustler. I was going to do a small LabVIEW project with this which is why it is on this aluminum plate but I do not have the time to finish it. This will include the muffler. Gas tank, servo, and small fan. This has a thermocouple that can be removed. For those engineers out there that see this and are wondering what I was going to do. I was basically going to use this to provide a simple demo of once the engine got to a certain temperature, the little fan would turn on to blow wind through the head to cool it off. I was going to control the throttle with the servo motor through pulse width modulation. This was going to be done with a laptop, A compact daq chassis, and LabVIEW. If you are interested in finishing this off as a project, you would be about ... more50% of the way. The possibilities are endless for you Daq programmers. You can added a stepper motor or accelerometer to the setup and also read vibration or speed. Now for those non- engineers. This is a used little engine. It has some compression but it is not the best, however, the engine works. You can use it on one of your vehicles. It is complete with starter, carburetor, muffler, and engine stand. What you see is what you get. It has been put up for a few months so you may need to spray and clean the carb and engine with a little carb cleaner. It has been covered but this is my suggestion because of how nitro engines are with the fuel. Please ask questions before bidding.

The unit is in very good cosmetic condition. Each of the three slots were tested with a 34901A plug-in measuring 1.00000VDC. 10.00000 and 100.0000 VDC from a EDC 521 DC calibrator(calibrator not included) and a resistance of 10K from a Fluke 5450A. Verified that the DMM reads AC voltage, and frequency accurately as well.
