Dickson TH6 Temperature/Humidity Recorder, Pens, Charts, Cords. As found cond.
I found this in an alley near my house on a neighborhood clean-up day. It was all packed in the original Dickson box and was clean and dry. But beyond that. I can't really tell you anything. No way to test it that I know of. It seems to have been manufactured around the turn of the century. It was calibrated or recalibrated in 2002. The cabling system is not USB. There are 4 6-pack packages of the pens but there are a total of 4 pens missing, although two are in the machine. The numbers on the pens are P222, P246, P226, and another P226. There is a 3.5 inch disk for the software for Windows, and operating manuals, the calibration certificate, other papers. Again, I don't know if this works, or if it is completely obsolete. This is a CAPP/USA Circular Temperature Recorder/ Monitor. It monitors on a 7 day chart. The temperature within the room or building it is in. Great for monitoring fluctuations in temperature within sensitive areas that require a specific temperature over a long duration. The unit has a digital display for quick readouts. Unit turns on and off from a switch inside. Battery compartment is under the chart paper. The unit has been turned on and tested and is working properly. It does not make a line on the chart paper because the ink is out. But the machine does spin the chart properly. This is a used(but in good working order) Tempatron Temp Controller type TC4810-01 which I've salvaged from a piece of my test gear which broke due to unassociated electronic problems. It works off 24volts DC or AC(24VAC. 24VDC) and comes with a cable socket(RS type 402-721) which is already wired, so you can either unsolder the wires and use that, or use your own socket. The temperature range is 0 to 200 degrees C. You can find the full spec on the internet by googling the part number. But if you need more info, please contact me.
