This is an 1894 Hohmann& Maurer temperature gauge. Solid brass, in working condition. Recently pulled out of a barn, where it had rested in a box for decades. Patina was left in tact, although this would be easy to polish out. It has been disassembled and cleaned, then reassembled. Mercury works as it should. Missing glass face, easy to replace.
