Up for bid here is a Vintage Fee Stemwedel Airguide Temperature and Humidity Gauge. This is a square desktop gauge that measures 3-1/4 inches by 3-3/8 inches. The thermometer is right on and the humidity gauge looks right as well so I believe that this works. I has a 1940s dark plastic look to it so this may be made out of Bakelite but I'm not sure about that. As for condition. The only problem is kind of a big problem. It's rust on the chrome ring that goes around the face. It's pretty bad up in the upper left corner. If you could remove that and rechrome it you'd have a sharp looking instrument here. But, I don't know if you can do that or not. I don't see any problem with the plastic. The face of this gauge underneath the glass looks good as well. The rust you see is just on the outside of the glass. As for other ... morenotes, I haven't been able to find one of these that looks exactly like this one in my brief searching around. I got this at an estate auction. I'm not sure what else to add so I will just say Happy Bidding!

This particular barometer is Green with speckles of black and is in a hard plastic case. It has gold trim and accents. The dials all have a gold background. The barometer and humidity gauge has clear domed covers. I can't tell if they are glass or plastic. The Thermometer is inset and is the old fashion type which helps to date this item. The gauges seem to all be working fine. The back is covered with hard board. It is in excellent gently used condition, I don't see any flaws of any kind. On auction today is. A Jason barometer. Thermometer and relative humidity gauge from West Germany. It is set in a beautiful piece of carved wood with finale. There is a chip on the wood at the bottom right and I did take a close up picture of it. It is in working condition and has curved glass on all three meters. Has some wear on the carved rope looking wood located on the sides. See the pictures. I have yet to find one of these on the internet which tells me it is rare and vintage. DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a great mid century Taylor weather station. An unusual style. I rarely see this one. In excellent used condition with only minor scuffs and scratches on the clear plastic face. Very clean and well cared for. Made of wood grained dark brown plastic. Cool metallic green face.
