My grandmother had one of these in the late 50's early 60's. It has a thermometer on it and it's a humidity gauge when nice out the girl is outside when it's stormy the man comes out. The tack that held the pair in place so they could pivot is missing so I put a piece of package tape on the wire and it appears to work fine. I'm not sure if it was made in Germany or not but most of them were. It is dirty and could use a cleaning. It measures about 5 X 5 X 2.5 inches in size. The clock ran for one day without stopping before I stopped it on purpose to clean it for this auction. The ink pens are dry you have to replace them. The barrel spins by the clock. You need chart paper or make your own. There is a clip system so you can attach homemade charts if you want. 1960's Airguide Weather Station in a nice Oak Frame with Brass Trim Ready to hang! Has a large barometer on top and a smaller thermometer and hygrometer on the bottom. Frame is oak with a brass trim. Front is glass. Instruments are all working, readings change with the weather. Because of it's vintage age. I cannot guarantee it's accuracy. Instrument in frame measures approximately 13.5 X 10.5 X 2 inches. Barometer is about six inches across. All instruments are working. Great Vintage Airguide barometer. Thermometer and relative humidity(hygrometer) weather station. Made in Chicago. IL USA It is in near-mint condition. Everything works and is accurate and also has the Gold-Tone American Eagle finial perched on top of the real Mahogany body. It measures approximately 21 1/2 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide so is easy to hang and does not take up a lot of wall space. I own at least a dozen Airguide barometers of different sizes/shapes and I have never found one that doesn't work and isn't 100% accurate- no matter how old. btw: I have had mixed experiences with Howard Miller(Japanese mechanism) Will ship to the lower 48 states.
