For sale is a programmable power supply with GPIB(aka IEEE-488) interface made by Thurlby instruments. The supplies are single channel voltage range 0-15v and current range 0-4a with remote sense capability allowing for accurate voltage control under load or when using long leads. Currently fitted with two external shorting bars. A damping switch on the front can be toggled to average out readings on the display for when a load is varying quickly. The supply can be linked up to another PL154 or a similar supply to give a greater voltage. i.e. two PL154 s in series will give a maximum output of 30v) Power supply has two power switches. The interface address is set at the back using the dip switches(currently it is set to 9) Through remote control. The voltage setting and the current limit can be set. And the interface will check constant current or constant voltage mode and reacts to the load current. When in CV mode with a command the supply will send back the actual current reading.
