It still works when I put batteries in it and switch it on-I can hear it run, however the paper does not advance and it may be out, or has come off the rollers. Its a recent estate find and will work on battery or a/c power as you can see, though there was no a/c adapter with it. The battery box has a little corrosion in it from batteries left in it too long-I cleaned the terminals and put batteries in it and switched it on. The red light does not light up, though it may be just to indicate low batteries. What you see is what is included. Its condition is very good with nothing cracked or broken. Looks like you can time share the chart over all three inputs or run#1 continuous. Chart runs at 1" per hour. Nice case with front instruction flap. Unit powers up and meter reads current with clamp over line splitter. Chart moves at 1" per hour. Needle of meter makes series of small dots on pressure sensitive paper chart. Tested with one input probe at 2 amp input. Seems to work fine. Amp range is adjustable from 15A thru 300A. I include two chart rolls, sadly they are for Voltage Recorder(also for sale) So they are the same size but wrong printed scale, the charts(300SVA) are available on Ebay. As is, no returns. Thanks

Also functions as a simple meter without chart movement. 3 voltage ranges 150-300-600. Comes with 4 rolls voltage paper. Has a nice case with instructions. There is only enough probes to do single voltage recording plus line cord. You could easily make more. They are simple plug in insulated alligator clips. This unit has an intermittent problem that even though the meter needle is pushed up into the chart to make a mark. The dot mark is very faint. VINTAGE TAYLOR 79JM TEMPERATURE CHART RECORDER 7-DAY
Vintage Taylor Temperature Recorder. Marked 79JM. This has a manual wind 7-day clock with key, it works and the paper turns with it. We took it outside to vary the temperature and the pen arm moved appropriately. That's as much as I know, it may or may not be running accurately. There are adjustments to be made however. I found a copy of instructions online that I will send along. It will need the 7-day charts and the pen refilled with ink. Measures 8 3/4" x 13 3/4" x 7 1/2" excluding handles.
