One key has a small piece on the front of it missing as shown in the second picture. Just before listing I hooked it up to an amp and it worked great. There are so many cool sounds you can get out of this synth. The Six-Trak is an analogue synthesizer manufactured by Sequential Circuits in San Jose. California and released in January 1984. It is notable for being one of the first multi-timbral synthesizers, equipped with MIDI and an on-board six-track digital sequencer, hence the name. It was designed as an inexpensive and easily portable'scratch-pad' machine for trying out arrangements. This auction is for a rare Ace Tone Rhythm Ace FR-8L vintage analog drum machine in fair cosmetic. But good working condition. There are a number of blemishes from normal use. Please see the pictures for details. You'll notice that there is mounting hardware on the top of the unit for attaching it to the underside of an organ. It looks like you can unscrew and remove the plate if you want. But I have not actually tried this. Additionally. Some of the paint has peeled off of the front panel, including some of the silkscreen labels. However, with a bit of Google image searching, you can find out what the labels are supposed to say. Here's a rundown of the functionality: 1. The pattern buttons. Rotary selector and switches are all immediately responsive. And the touch sensitive starting bar is also working great, as is the downbeat light. ... moreHowever. 2. There is a very low volume clicking sound in the audio that changes speed along with the tempo. Bleed from the clock circuit? If you use a sparse rhythm. Like"2 Beat Bass" which is only a kick on the 1 and the 3) you can hear the clicking in the background, but if you use busier patterns, the clicking is inaudible since it's covered by other instruments. 3. There is a bit of hiss in the audio as well. Again. It's not particularly noticeable when a busy pattern is playing. I would consider this an average noise floor for a vintage analog piece. 4. The sliders are just a bit scratchy. But not too bad. This classic drum machine is still quite usable. But since it's likely to go to a collector, I wanted to be very specific in my description. Sometimes the patterns glitch while playing. It actually often sounds like a stutter edit. And it happens infrequently enough that it feels like a live drummer adding variations. One of the cymbal instruments seems to have an envelope problem where it doesn't completely return to silence. Since the cymbal sound is synthesized with white noise. The snare and rim sounds are digital samples stored on eproms, and the bassdrum and tom sounds are all analogue. The on-board memory can hold 20 factory kits and 20 user kits. Other kits can be stored and up-loaded via Midi. The unit is in good condition and all channels work and includes a collection of eproms so you can swap some of the onboard digital sounds with some different snares and cymbal samples. Magnum Dynalab FT-101A Analog FM Tuner--super condition...hardly used
This tuner was kept in my bedroom atop a highboy dresser to monitor my radio station. I purchased it and another MD model used about 10 years ago-this was in super cosmetic condition-doesn't appear to have ever been rack-mounted. The other model is still being used in the control room studio-it had to have meters replaced-the new meters from MD in that other unit never gave me the same readings as this 101A. All the time I have owned it. It's never been hooked up to an amp or anything else-I just needed it for extremely accurate metering. Maybe a factory mod? The 3 control meters give accurate readings as long as the unit is simply plugged in-the switch turning on the power to the unit and the lights doesn't need to be turned on-I only energized the unit and lights when I needed to verify the led dial position indicator.

The great thing about the 202's sequencer is that it has programmable accent for the VCF and VCA, as well as programmable glide. These features are why some have called this the poor-man's TB-303. The major flaw of the stock 202 has been fixed on this one. In the original design. The 202's gate and CV input were routed through the microprocessor. It's well-known that this led to latency in the playback when the 202 was externally sequenced. This Mini-Korg is in outstanding physical and functional condition. Everything works well. All sliders are super-smooth, switches are firm and tight, and it sounds amazing. It does everything from round bass, filtered analog bass, Ladytron-style octave switching, singing vocal or theremin type leads. A really immediate, accessible, and performative synth. I already have a Model D Minimoog and feel like this is the closest I've gotten to that warm sound yet, even more so that the ubiquitous bass stations and other emulations. Certainly it's not as huge sounding as a Model D, but nothing is, but I really feel like Korg was going for that kind of"thing" when they made this.
