Authentic Yellow Esso PVC Work Suit Worn by Former Employee
Hello, I have an Esso PVC work suit worn by my Step-Grandfather. To the best of my recollection. I believe he worked for Standard Oil Company somewhere in New York or New Jersey. His name was Frank Marhan. I met him once when he was in a nursing/assisted living home when I was approximately 10 years old. that would have been in 1980. I'm taking a rough guess. But I assume this PVC suit is from sometime in the 1960s or early 1970s. This suit is in good condition overall with no rips or tears. I tried to clean it the best I could with soap and water. But there are a bunch of miscellaneous black marks on the outfit. I'm not sure if it is crude oil that stained the PVC, or if it is tar, or? It's not sticky, but it won't come off. The photos should give you an idea of what I'm talking about. My son is"modeling" this ... morePVC suit. He is approximately 5' 1" The pant legs are dragging because he isn't big enough for the outfit. same with the sleeves. The PVC suit is a size large. I wish I could provide you with more detailed information. But I have told you everything I can think of. Tsukuda Hobby 1:6 scale P.V.C. figure. Evangelion Ayanami Rei plug suit version II with Pen Pen. Box has some minor overall wear(see pictures) Figure itself may have been displayed at some point. But looks to be in excellent condition. These came out back in 1997, of the 4 PVC figure that came out this was by far the most wanted of the set. I actually auctioned one off back in 2001 and it sold for $240 or so. Look around, not the easiest Ayanami PVC to aquire. Shipping is $12(within the U.S. no matter how many auctions you win so try to take advantage by winning multiple auctions to save on shipping.
