Trellchem VPS Level A Hazmat Suit XL Trelleborg Rubber Chemical Enclosure
This is a very rare Trellchem VPS Level A hazmat suit. The suit is used and has signs of wear as seen in the photos. It should be cleaned before being used. The hood features 2 exhaust valves that can be reversed so the suit can be inflated or deflated. The suit zipper does have a small problem towards the bottom when it closes. As seen in the photo, this might be easily fixable or it might need cleaning and waxing/ lubing. The zipper closes all the way down but when unzipping you will have to give it some brute force to pull it past the section that needs attention. Hopefully this will be a simple fix. Up for auction this week is an extremely rare 1976 Gemini Era Fueling Space"SCAPE" Suit. This suit is very unique. It includes the helmet. Gloves, suit, and hoses. Sizing of this suit is"Medium Regular. Information Vintage Self Contained Atmospheric Protective Ensemble(SCAPE) suit. Complete with its rubber gloves, was utilized by missile silo and launch-pad team members engaged in fueling and de-tanking of storable liquid propellants affiliated with Titan launch vehicle and spacecraft reaction control systems, and were later used on fueling other spacecraft. Suit would have included its own backpack with breathing oxygen to isolate the wearer from hazards of hyper-golic fuel and oxidizer(propellants were extremely toxic and carcinogenic) Material surrounding hoses has disintegrated, as they all have. NATL SAFETY APPAREL FULLY ENCAPSULATED ACID KING LEVEL A CHEMICAL HAZMAT SUIT
One(1) used fully encapsulated Acid King Level A older hazmat chemical suit. Size Long(large) with attached gloves and face plate made by National Safety Apparel. This is a heavy rubber, older model of a total encapsulated suit in good condition and still usable for training purposes, as it has not had an inflation test. It has attached gloves, which have some wear and tear, and attached booty-type socks. There are no obvious defects in the suit itself, but the gloves may have some defects(which can be replaced) so this suit is not recommended for anything other than training purposes.
