This is a great vibrating plate compactor. Used once for patio pavers- it is still on its first tank of gas. Runs well. Easy to use. I paid $899.99 plus tax in June, used it for the patio. It almost paid for itself with just this one job- any return is a bonus. Great buy for someone- either a do it yourself person, or a professional. Selling a not working US made Stone brand plate compactor. used in construction to compact dirt and fill for grading. Great tool to prepare ground for concrete or locking pavers. Also for asphalt work. the original Honda 5.5 HP GX160 gas motor. About 10 years ago. was removed and used for another machine. I bought another, used Honda GX160 that was missing parts. As you can see. The motor is missing it's carburetor, pull start, air cleaner. And other parts. Other then the missing motor part issue. The main compactor is complete. It's main body is made of heavy steel. Has a heavy ball bearing oil splash, Eccentric mechanism Has it's original ball bearing clutch pulley. It's water tank is missing it's cap. But the tank ands it's ... moresprinkler, are in great condition. The compactors U shaped handle is a little bent up. But still good. The tools motor could be replaced with a New $100 china made, Honda GX160 copy motor. I have been told. And Info i got from the internet, says there great motors. For the money. one of these motors. or a similar 5HP- 7HP motor would but this back in service fast. Or maybe repair the Honda. Or maybe a used motor. NOTE BEFORE BIDDING.
