You are bidding on a MAKO air breathing air compressor for SCUBA or Fire Dept. air tanks. It is powered by a Lister diesel engine and is mounted inside a small truck body. This is a complete setup. The engine runs well and the compressor works, it was taken out of service because the safety valve blew off and went through the roof. This is a 20 CFM 6000 psi unit. It has 3000 or so hours on it so I would have the compressor rebuilt before I breathed any air out of it. About a $2000 job. Winning bidder will have to arrange for a flatbed truck to pick this up, I will load it no extra charge.

A very rare chance to own a genuine unrestored original michelin man air compressor. This was found in a relatives garage a few years ago after being hidden away for many years. Ideal restoration project. looks pretty complete. Only a rubber foot apears to been missing(as pictured) but you would have to make your own mind up as i have never seen another one. Removed while in service. This machine is very well maintained. As you can see in the attached pictures the Intellisys controller was replaced in 2008 and the motor in 2011. When it was removed the AC cord was taken off to be put on the new machine. Unfortunatly the hours were not pulled from the machine before the AC cord was removed. They also had a custom cart built for this compressor, cost for the cart was $1000.00. you can see it is sitting on it. It will be included with the compressor. Buyer is responsible for shipping. This is an extremely nice original John Deere PTO driven air compressor. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks or repairs of any kind. It has the original air line, chain, tension spring, and brass air fitting on the end of it. It even as the original owners manual with it! It has most of its original paint on it and doesn't seem to have been used much. These original compressors are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for a conversation piece for your John Deere collection here it is! There are hoses missing and the existing are pretty brittle. The metal belt wheel and another cylinder are comprimised, the metal is breaking. Can be seen in the photos.
