Victorian glass dome display case - wood base/plinth
Please note most of my items are in used condition) so they will have some wear and tear- Item description- On offer today I have a charming glass dome which sits upon a wood base with 3 feet. This would be ideal for taxidermy or possible a clock etc- I am unsure too it's age though I beleive it to be victorian or Edwardian. Item condition- This item is in sound condition with some wear and tear in keeping with it's age and being used. I see no chips/cracks to the glass other than some flea bites around the edge which of course are not seen once in place, the painted wood does have some scuffs/marks so the new owner may decide to repaint, personally I think it just adds character, I think the bottom 3 feet are later replacements, the base felt looks to be original and does have some wear though in keeping- Standing approx 8.5" ... moretall"including the base" the glass is approx 10.25" across and stands approx 7" tall. FENTON HAMMERED BRASS FINGER LAMP BASE-BOTTOM This hammered brass lamp base is in excellent working condition. Switch, brown plug& cord. Uses standard or decorative bulb. There is one tiny dent as seen in photo 6 on the left. The dent is on the back side just above the brown cord. It is not that noticeable since this is hammered brass. I wanted to mention in the listing. See photo 1. This brass lamp measures 8" tall x 8" wide. No glass chimney or shade. Glass chimney required is a 3" fitter& lamp shade is a 4" fitter.
