FLEXO Art Deco Swing Arm Desk Lamp for Drafting Steampunk Art Lamp 1942
This is a very cool Flexo swing arm lamp from 1942 and is marked Art Specialty Company Chicago. Ill. The lamp works perfectly and bright with new Philips bulbs installed. It has the normal wear and tear scuffs and scratches but still looks great for it's age. Please note that one of the bottom rubber feet is missing but still sits down flat on a surface. This is a big lamp measuring 35 1/2" high x 18" long at the shade with a 9" x 9" base and weighs 18 lbs. This lamp is fully adjustable back and forth and up and down to suit your lighting needs. There are some minor scratches and scrapes.There are no dents or bends. The light works well. There are two push buttons(red and black) on the top of the bulb housing. This light has the arm that extends up to 35" high and can pivot to give maximum lighted area. It is a 118v. 60 cy. Light with two Florescent light bulbs. This lamp is very heavy it weight is 19 lbs. Up for auction we have a Flexo Band Cool Cap. Or more commonly known as a"turtle shell" hard hat for miners. This hat is made of reinforced molded leather, and has upstanding ribs for ventilation. This particular hat appears to be a size small, and has a circumference of 22" The right side of the brim is stamped with the number 96. Given it's age, the helmet is in great condition. Typical scratches and dings, but all of the threading and roping is intact with no breaks or fraying. It has not been cleaned in any way, but could use a good dusting with a dry cloth. We'll leave that up to the buyer. Also included is the Auto-Lite carbide lamp with blade hook. This is a smaller size lamp. 3.5" in height with a 2" diameter base. This lamp could use some restoration to get it into working order. The blade hook has ... morea soldering repair that appears to have been made many years ago. Lot of 10 Burke Flexo-Product Vintage Fishing Lures
These lures were made by Burke Flexo-Products in Traverse City. Michigan. Only two of these are marked, but I am pretty sure they are all by the same company. The black plug is stamped in red letters: Burke 2018 Top Dog. The blue lure with the spinner is embossed Burke. These lures measure from 2-4 inches long. I think these are really unique because they look like wooden lures, but they are all soft and rubber feeling. These are from my father's enormous collection. He has some rare ones.
