This is a great beginners system for digital underwater photography(snorkeling or SCUBA) I have used it for two major SCUBA diving trips to the Florida Keys and the Cayman Islands in the past 18 months(35 logged dives total) You will need to find a Sea and Sea YS series strobe for dives below 15– 20 feet as the camera based flash unit is not that powerful. I have used the YS-90 DX and YS-27-DX with fiber optic cables and an Sea and Sea S Sea Arm VII strobe tray with good success on this camera on deeper dives.
