Antique Cast iron Rounder base clothes rack orig wheels paint 35" Industrial
Up for consideration is a cast iron rounder base for an antique Victorian Clothes rack. The piece measures 35 inches at its widest point by 8 inches high. It has it's original paint as well as a good old set of original casters with rubber on them. The center whole measures 1 1/4 and is threaded with a standard pipe size. It weighs about 50 lbs. There are no chips cracks or repairs. This would be a great piece to finish off a high end rounder or to repurpose it as a table base. If you have any questions or concerns please email. Industrial Metal Store Display Rack BASE Vintage Antique Cast Iron clothes stand
This base was salvaged from an old department store years ago. It is missing the top half. Sold as is. It is the base with the stem and knob only. The top half that would have held the clothing rack is missing. It has scratching and scuff marks. Surface rust in spots. Knob seems to work as it should. Just slide the other part down and it holds it into place. Approx. 27.5" tall. Base is approx. 15" wide. Please see the pictures for more condition details. Happy to answer any questions. Black Cast Iron Garment Rack The base of this garment rack has a 13" radius and dates from the early 1900's. The rest of the garment rack is made of used and vintage industrial steel pipe and fittings. The rack is 39 1/4" wide and has a 1" in diameter. The center post has a 1 1/2" diameter. Antique Vintage Ornate Metal Clothes Clothing Rack Display **CAN SHIP**
Up for auction is this vintage free standing clothes rack. It is very ornate with all it's curves.It is approx 6 ft Tall. The top diameter is approx 2ft and the base is 2ft 5" from one end to the other.the very top originally had a wood finial but it did not survive time.only 1 wood ball at the end survived as pictured.I believe it is made of steel.I have not seen one like this with so much detail to it.I have used it as is for many many years in my closet. It holds a lot of garments.a unique piece to say the least and with a little elbow grease it can be brought back to its splendor. THIS IS PICK-UP ONLY* Old antique wooden garment rack that came out of a store here in Cadiz. KY called Streets Department store many years ago which has been closed for some time~it is in great condition for it's age but has a crack on the top(see photo) and is still functional and spins around. I will be listing a variety of nice estate-fresh Antique and Vintage Items this week. Here is a Wonderful ANTIQUE STORE CLOTHING RACK with FANCY CAST IRON BASE AND BRASS ROTATING TOP WITH LOVELY FINIAL ON TOP. It is signed on the base with what looks like"NORWICH N& B CO. NORWICH, CONN. Rack is approx. 79" high or 6' 7' Note: This is a local pick-up only item here in Ashland. MA. Extra-nice clothing rack found fresh out of an old local estate this past weekend. Rack looks to be c.Late-19thC to Turn-of-the Century vintage to me. It is in good condition with no damage to metal. There is a layer of old worn and chipped(possibly original) mustardy color paint on the cast iron base, with old faux wood grain paint on the pole. The rotating brass top has partially worn silvery patina over the brass. The top rotates very nicely ... moreand smoothly. The base still has all of it's wheels which work and swivel well. Some chipping in places to the faux wood grain paint on the pole. The top piece just lifts off for easier transportation. Beautiful antique clothes rack.
