I have for auction this vintage foredom flexible shaft grinder. Drill, polisher It is in good running condition. the Issue with this tool is the cord. The original owner cutoff the cord, and added a new/old plug and an in line on/off switch. and it is a poor ugly job. The switch and plug works fine, but I suspect the new owner will want to re vamp the cord. This model is a 44 0 and the hand piece chuck is a 44 A. I have the original wrench for the 44A hand piece. Vintage Sears Portable Hair Dryer Nail Grinder/polisher Combination Travel Bag
Here is one cool retro Sears Portable Travel Hair Dryer and Nail grinder/buffer combination in a zipper travel bag. Ready for the road. It is 110 volts. And everything works, from the heater in the dryer to the flex arm nail grinder/buffer. The case has a good zipper. Clean bottom with lots of gromets, and just needs some cleaning, especially on the handle. The dryer has a nice flexible hose that is 38 inches long. No tears, no leaks. The nail grinder flex arm plugs into the middle of the dryer(see Photo#3) and it is 24 1/2 inches long. Works GREAT! The small plastic box contains the extra nail grinders/heads/buffer pads. The hair cover is a sharp flower covered cap with holes to let the air out. There is one 3 inch gap that I found and put masking tape on it to mark it and prevent further tear. I would suggest better tape if you are going ... moreto repair it! The base unit is 9 inches by 11 inches by 4 inches- no chips or cracks. Just needs a little cleaning. The case is 12 inches by 13 inches by 5 1/2 inches. Everything fits nicely inside it! This is one cool retro hair dryer. And the nail grinder really adds to the piece. It's ready to play, or be a special addition to your collection!
