Two upgraded NiMH battery packs are included. Both are about a year old. They are 3000 mAh rating. Which I believe is more than double the power of the original NiCd packs. I am also including one Makita charger, which is designed for the NiMH batteries. The charger provides very fast charge time- less than an hour for a full charge. The charger has intelligent circuitry to detect faulty packs and to maintain a full charge safely. The drill driver has a variable speed trigger. It is reversible. And importantly. It has a 2-speed gearbox- high speed for drilling, low speed for driving screws. Because of that gearing, this is an extremely powerful way to drive screws- much more powerful then the normal battery-powered screwdriver. And the body of the tool allows you to apply secure pressure to drive the screws with minimum fatigue. As a drill, it is just fine for light work. The tool includes a 5-level clutch adjustment to allow you to set the amount of torque you want to apply to screws. That can help avoid stripping the screws by applying too much power. I am including the plastic carrying case and arbor wrench. No drill bits or screw heads are included. With this upgraded battery, you can easily sink hundreds of deck screws, for example, on a single charge. The circular saw is a very convenient tool. It isn't nearly as powerful as a big plug-in framing saw. Bit it is very light weight and just great for small jobs, for example using 1/4 plywood, paneling, or fence pickets. I'd estimate you can get 5-7 minutes of continuous cutting time on a full charge, which is more than most small projects would ever need. I am including three saw blades. This Makita 5402 415mm Beam saw is an older model Saw but it still runs very strong and cuts well. There is a bit of rust on the bottom guide but it could be cleaned off. The cord has a tear in it but the wires are not cut. You may want to replace the cord as the ground plug is missing on the existing cord. Other than that the saw runs great and has not issues. Whilst cleaning out his cellar I found three of these Makita. 7 1/4" circular saws. This auction is for the one shown in the photos. It's a model 5007NB, 13 amp& 5800 rpm. As you can see it is in cosmetically used condition but it runs great! The motor runs strong and the bearings run smooth and tight. In fact, it runs better than my considerably more expensive Porter-Cable saw! I replaced a couple of parts on this saw. Namely: one of the four base retaining screws and the blade guard ... morereturn spring. It wasn't until I was replacing the return spring that I noticed a crack in the guard(see bottom photos) I removed it. Cleaned it up, replaced it and it works fine. Personally I would use it as is but if it ever got to the point where the guard didn't return properly a new piece goes for about $13.00. It has a very handy 13' cord. The blade wrench and rip fence are not included. If you ever do any masonry. Or other abrasive type cutting like old roof shingles etc. it's always a good idea to have an extra, dedicated saw for those dirty, gritty jobs! SHIPPING NOTES: See Calculator for S&H. Real nice EXTRA CLEAN saw. I bought to cut 4X4 fence post tops. Cut a couple. Ended up power way out and long cords are a pain. Used a chainsaw, rough but done. So here you get as new a saw as new for a lot less. Blade as I said cut 2- 4X4s, no dings or scratches, all quality metal construction. Not really that bad to handle at all. Hardly used Makita 7-1/4" Circular Saw. Model 5007NK. I purchased this saw in November 2012 for a small project. Maybe a couple dozen cuts, it still has the original blade on it. The saw has been sitting in storage since then. Runs perfect, everything about it looks almost brand new. The only thing I can think of is the bottom of the plate has some scratches as seen in the posted pictures. A very clean track saw. I ordered it from Amazon a while back hoping to work on a few projects but never got around to starting them. Now that I've moved and don't even have a garage to work out of I figured there is no point keeping it around. I've used it once to cut a 1x3 and just see how the saw functioned but other than that it is a brand new saw. The track itself has NEVER been used and only opened for those pictures. The splinter guard is uncut. The saw itself will work perfectly fine on Festool tracks. But Festool tools will not work on the Makita track. I charged up all 3 batteries and they all seem to hold a charge and power the saw as they used to, however I am not sure how long they hold a charge under operating conditions since I have not used it in sometime.
