Flexcut and Pfeil wood and chip carving tools/knives, with strop and waterstone!
Up for auction is the perfect set of beginner wood chipping and carving tools. First is the 11 piece. Interchangeable set of carving blades with its own pocket tool roll, this is made by Flexcut and is their item SK107, this item has been used but no damage is seen to any of the blades or handle. Next up is a Flexcut Slipstrop used to sharpen all of the carving and chip knife blades, this item has been used a few times but still has tons of life left in it. Also included are 5 chip carving knives, 4 made by Pfeil and 1 made by Butz. The knives included are 2 Schnitzhaken which is the angle blade, 1 of the tips is broken off which is why I bought a second one; the Kerbschnittmesser is also from Pfeil as is the Stecher Klein blade; the Rosenmesser is made by Butz. The only other identifiable tools are a Harmen USA Palm and a Walnut Hollow Palm. Some of the tools have a previous name engraved on the handle. Vintage "Pfeil" Swiss Made Wood Carving Tools Etc. Lot No Reserve
Offering as one lot at no reserve 4 vintage wood carving chisels. Purchased from a professional wood carver's estate. They are basically very sharp- a mirror like finish shows on the cutting edge surfaces. Only two of these are for sure Pfeil- the 2/25 shallow gouge, and the 12/6 parting tool. The flat skew chisel doesn't have the arrow marking, or any marking; and the last parting tool is marked Marples. Curiously, they all have the Swiss made handles. Pfeil Swiss Made Wood Carving Tools Set Of 11 Full Size Carving Chisels Blade
Lot of 11 Pfeil Swiss Made carving tools(see pics for measurements) Each one is signed swiss made and also has the Pfeil arrow mark and number. I am not an expert. But besides a few blemishes, they appear to be in great condition as they they seem sharp and solid with good finish on the wood. In an attempt to achieve full disclosure, I have indicated a few marks and a black mark on one of the handles. A few blades after close examination have minute tiny jagged spots(could be appropriate, I don't know) These chisels were procured from the estate buyout I have been selling for the last month from a bird carver in CAPE COD MA. Sold in estate condition un sharpened with normal wear from age and use.

Up for auction is a lot of 6 Pfeil. Swiss Made woodcarving tools. The tool blades are marked/stamped with the tool number and the arrow hallmark. The wood handles are marked Swiss Made. The numbers are 1, 3, 7, 9, 11& 12. One measures 9-1/2 inches long, four measure 9-3/4 inches long and 1 measures 9-7/8 inches long. The wood handles measure 5-1/4 inches long.
