You're bidding on a gently used calibrated HSS Bareknuckle set. I had this set in my Strat for a short while and then got a new guitar. Bareknuckle makes GREAT pickups in England and this set can be yours much lower than the $370 retail these original cost. Bareknuckle crafts their pups based on known guitar tones. Nailbomb humbucker is 4-wire for splitting options and is very hot and creamy(15.7K/ alnico V) Irish Tour single coils are hot blues pups(6.3K/ alnico V) that are based on Rory Gallagher's vintage blues tone. Squier Bullet Fender Telecaster HSS vintgae 1980's Electric Guitar
Description: International buyer's must check with us about shipping before buying this item. Squier Bullet Fender Telecaster HSS vintgae 1980's. This is a kind of obscure Squier from the 1980's. The body is single cutaway similar to a Telecaster but a little sharper and the neck is a one piece maple Stratocaster style. The pickup configuration is humbucker. Single coil, single coil with a 5 way selector. This guitar plays very well and the one piece maple neck is very responsive, harmonics jump right out. There is no marking on this guitar to indicate where it was made but it seems these were made in Korea. The tone is mostly bright due to the one piece maple neck/fingerboard but it does have a decent lower midrange too which sweetens it up and keeps it from being too sharp. After playing for a few minutes you'll want to ... moretry some Billy Gibbons. Robin Trowler or Stevie Ray licks. This thing seems to want to play aggressive blues. The neck/mid pickup combination is especially sweet for that sort of thing. The bridge humbucker is nice and hot so if harder rock or metal is your thing this will do that pretty well too. Overall the sound is very clear and the notes all sound strong, again it's all about that maple neck. This guitar is used and it has some wear and tear on it. Most of the wear is in the form of superficial scratches on the top and back. Nothing too deep. The neck is straight and the action is low so it plays very comfortably. Fender Strat HSS 1990-91, Floyd Rose, Maple Neck, Made In Japan, NICE
This is a very nice 1990-91fender stratocaster made in japan with floyd rose tremolo. D'marzio lead pickup. The pick guard has couple of little holes from a gk2 pickup i had installed at one time. The guitar has been in the studio smoke free and little use. The floyd tremolo is now locked with a small metal bar i installed cause i dont use it. But it is functional with springs in great shape just remove the bar. I do not have the tremolo handle. Pictures will show some minor marks that you could actually buff out if needed. Rear white cover is missing couple of screws. I have the guitar since 1995 and is original, the only upgrade i made was to replace the 5 point switch for an upgraded British model that fixed the old scratchy original, and is now working without scratchy noise when shifting. Up for sale is my American Strat. First guitar I ever fell in love with. It's a shame to see it go(cross-country move. It is setup with a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates in the bridge(amazing) But I'm also including the original singlecoil and a pickguard to fit it as well. This has been a player's guitar for me. Meaning its not pristine. Ibanez S? Saber? HSS Pickups. Locking trem and nut.
I am not the original owner of this guitar. It appears to be an 80s or early 90s Ibanez S or Sabre series guitar. The finish on the back of the neck. Including the serial number, has been removed. It actually feels quite nice and natural. Some players prefer this. For this and other reasons, my guess is this was a players guitar. Although it is in rather rough condition, it actually plays well and sounds good, much better than most"budget" guitars, including those from Ibanez. The neck has medium jumbo frets and feels more like their mid- to upper-range guitars. I have 4 other Ibanez guitars. The trem has a nice smooth feel. The pickups are better than those in most budget guitars. The single coils in the neck and mid positions are a bit hotter than most and sound well balanced. The bridge humbucker is definitely hot. This bridge ... morepickup is not stock. And whomever wired the new bridge pickup also put in a new tone pot- and it works in reverse. Cosmetically, the guitar is rather rough as well. There are definitely some nicks and scratches. The pictures are quite accurate, although in tungsten light, the guitar tends to look like a very dark, almost black, green. This is a beautiful 3 Color Sunburst 2008 American Deluxe Strat with maple neck that has been stored in a smoke free. Climate controlled environment. This guitar has seen no more than a couple hours total use but is set up with low action, tuned intonation, new strings and ready to play. It is in excellent condition but does have a dent in the top part of the body as shown in the attached pictures. I purchased the guitar brand new in this condition. This pickguard was pulled from an American-built 1992-94 Fender Floyd Rose Strat. It is cut for an HSS set-up. This is NOT a loaded pickguard! The Humbucker cut out(see pic) is no longer done by Fender. Who now use a rectangle. And the original tremolo bar has been replaced with a new Ibanez one. The original Splatter paint design is in good shape for its age(about 25 years old) and shows normal yellowing. There are scratches and dings, but no body damage. Everything is working great with no issues whatsoever. The neck is very straight, and the action is 1/16" on the high E at the 12th fret and 5/64" on the Low E. The frets have very little wear. This is a terrific guitar to play and stays in tune very well. I repair guitars for a living, and this is one of the straightest necks I've seen in a long time. Minimal scratches on the 1-ply pickguard, and no cracks, breaks, or other damage. All the pots, the jack, and the pickup switch worked well when it was pulled, with no noise when used. Lindy Fralin's were the pickup of choice for Scott Henderson for several years. Plop these in an HSS strat and it will take you back to the 1950's with a slightly beefier tone similar to SRV. Vintage Hot Single coils for the neck and middle positions. The middle pickup is RPRW for hum canceling. The neck and middle pickups are average 50’s specs. High Output Humbucker: More power. Longer sustain and Faster grind. Wound with 43 gauge wire from 12.5K to 13.5K with ALNICO IV magnets. This set taps very well, and also tolerates being turned down on the volume control. Very nice all-original Corona. California 1998 Fender Stratocaster HSS. Serial number N7254348, metallic red. I’ve owned this quite some time. 2004 I think. There’s not a scratch. Ding, or idiot mark anywhere. Horns. Heel body, neck, all in perfect condition. Frets very good. Always stored in a case, in a smoke-free home. Fantastic instrument. No modifications or repairs. LSR Roller nut, I always thought that the LSR is a great nut. The Seymour Duncan humbucker at the bridge sounds absolutely great. Pearl pickguard and backplate. Played very little and well cared for. The selector switch is a little scratchy. All other pots are fine. I’d rather not pull it apart. I’ll bet a little contact cleaner will do the trick. Off-brand. 2011 Fender American Standard HSS Stratocaster Loaded Pickguard No Reserve
I have a 2011 Fender American Standard HSS Strat loaded pickguard for sale. I have converted to the SSS configuration so I no longer need these pups but they are in perfect working condition. The pickguard has some light scratches on it from normal use but no serious damage. If you want to make your strat really versatile. This is a great way to do it. The single coils are Tex-Mex pups in the neck and middle position and in the bridge is a Diamondback humbucker. The Tex-Mex single coils are higher output than the standard strat pups so these can really scream if you want them too. The pickguard is white 3-ply with black edging and is the 11 screw version(not 8 screws like some strats) Please be sure that this will fit your guitar as I do not accept returns, for example if you want to convert a SSS to an HSS, it will require you to get the ... morebridge position routed for a humbucker. Hi, Here is pickgaurd with a Jeff Beck Humbucker bought new from GC in Jan. 2013. And two Fender custom shop SC with one initialed by A Y. The initialed pup didnt matter to me when i bought it so i cant verify if its Abbys initial but i bought it from my luthier under that assumption.This pickgaurd was loaded for a Black strat project using a new Strat Deluxe. Busker's Red Demon HSS Strat-style Guitar - Very Rare - Made in Japan - w/Gigbag
Very rare Busker's Red Demon Strat-style guitar with the HSS configuration. It's bright red in color with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. I bought this guitar a few years ago from an American serviceman who had bought it in Japan. I should have asked him for more information about it. I haven't been able to find out any information about the manufacturer other than seeing three similar guitars listed in the Phillipines and Japan. Those listings all have said the guitar is made in Japan. I have no idea was year it was made and it has no serial number unless it's in the neck pocket or heel of the neck. It's in very good condition. It does have some light fret wear. Some light strum marks on the pickguard, and some other scratches and scrapes, but nothing major that would show in the pictures. Stratocaster EMG HSS 81X/SA/SA w/Afterburner & 18V MOD
This is a pick guard I put together while trying different active pickups. It has an EMG 81X bridge and two SA single coils in the neck and middle. I also added an EMG afterburner for some nice gain when I'm doing leads. Another addition is the 18 Volt mod power supply I wired for a more"natural" sound. Pick guard is in great shape. But I had to widen the humbucker position a little so that the active would fit. It looks decent, but not perfect. Everything is wired together, so all the components can be swapped right into another pick guard. Includes manuals and all mounting hardware. Slingerland 1980's HSS Era Heavy Duty Drum Throne
Open to International Bidders! This No Reserve auction. Is for a vintage 1980's Slingerland heavy duty drum throne. Slingerland closed it's doors in 1985. And the rights to the Slingerland name was sold to the Gretsch drum company not long after that. Gretsch handed over the design and distribution of the 2nd generation Slingerland drum company over to the H.S.S. corporation which is still located in Virginia. This drum throne is an H.S.S. era model. As you can see from my pictures. This drum chair is in superb condition, and shows very little wear. The heavy duty tripod is brilliantly chrome plated, and it is nicely preserved. The Slingerland logo is found on the upper part of the center tube( see picture) The distinctive"butterfly" tightening screws are unique to the H.S.S. drums. The black leatherette seat top is in excellent ... morecondition. And the vinyl material is free from rips or tears, and it still looks like new! 1980s Vintage Bently Series 10 Red Super Strat- VG+ Condition! HSS Pup Configuation. Made in Korea- MIK, Powerful Guitar! No Reserve! This RED Bently guitar has a powerful output and is lots of fun to play. See Condition Description and pictures to see its shortcomings. It has a good neck and has been set up for my preferences. Your preference may differ. It has a medium low action and has a new set of Super Slinky 0.009 strings. A single volume control. A single tone control and a 5 way pickup selector switch- utter simplicity. The 5 way is set up as Fender does and the pickups and combinations offer a wide range of tones to select; as do many Japanese and Korean guitars. All electronics function as they should- there is just a minor whisper of scratch in the volume control. It has a black Fender style tremolo bridge. Both single pickups ... moreare original. The original humbucker was replaced with a Asian made high distortion humbucker after the original developed an open circuit in one of the coils. It doesn't say DiMarzio on the bottom of it(I checked) but it sure does act like one. It also has adjustable round headed pole pieces. The high distortion pup is a powerful pickup offering everything from clear sweet at lower volumes to growly and intense at high volumes. Coupled with the original Bently singles. It offers both a lot of sound and a lot of tone coloring to go with it. Now for the No's: No case No tremolo bar No back tremolo cover or B string tuner bushing A great guitar- it plays great& it sounds great. For a reasonable price.
