I have a pair of fixed gear wheels. Front are rear. Front is a handbuilt dachang hub machined sidewalled 700mm. The rear is a vuelta xrp pro with a flip flop hub 700mm. I'm throwing in a shimano freewheel as well. They are mix matched but worked fine for me on my track commuter. They are in decent shape. They need to be trued but other then that the hubs roll great. Vintage 1948 SAITO Soprano Vibraphone with 8 Speed Motor and Foldable Legs
Up for auction is a Saito Vibraphone. Made in Japan. It has a working eight speed motor with rotating paddles. The Motor operates as it should. The Control Panel operates as it should, including the on light. The Manufacturer's Plate dates this instrument to 1948(see picture#10) The length of the instrument is 43 inches. And the width at it's widest point is 22 3/4 inches. This vibraphone is tuned to a standard of A=440 Hz, and is C to C Octave Soprano. The bar sizes do vary in width. The resonators are in good condition, and new insulators have been installed between the bars. The bars are made of hardened aluminum. The damper mechanism works as it should. It is easily disassembled and assembled for travel. The bars come out and can be rolled up into a blanket. The resonators lift out. The frame folds up.
