I do not know if this an"original" Siegley or whether it was produced after Stanley purchased the company. The patent date 12/5/93 is on the blade setting cap. Some of the information I found on the internet suggests that it's original,but I don't know.

Chinese Built FT7 TRAINER Jet Plane Inside Hand Painted Snuff Bottle SEAL SIGNED
Up for auction is a beautiful inside hand painted Chinese snuff bottle. Hand painted on the inside of the bottle between January 2000 and December 2002 by a master graduate artist from the Yizi Academy in China. Measuring 3 1/4 inches tall and seal signed by the master artist. Complete with a hand carved spoon attached to the inside removable agate stone top. The bottle comes from my Uncles private estate collection and was special ordered by the him. This is not a mass produced bottle. Only two of any scene were ever painted. Inside painted or sometimes called reverse painted bottles are beautiful masterpieces that are painstakingly done inside the bottle through the small opening at the top of the bottle. The artist takes a fine sliver of bamboo. Used as a paint brush, bends one end and applies the color of paint needed at that time. They ... morethen insert the bamboo sliver into the top of the bottle and paint on the glass inside the bottle. Hours and sometimes days go into a single painting. One mistake and the bottle is destroyed. The artwork is incredible to say the least. This is a beautiful handmade plane that comfortably fits my grip. While feeling its balance and mass. It invites the user to experience putting it to work. There are no obvious signs the plane has been“set up” for anything but a test cut. The blade has been partially honed and tested, but the new owner will want to complete the sharpening of the blade. The metals have some very slight scratches that can easily be buffed out should the new owner choose to do so. I wouldn’t. Most likely, these were present from the maker, when it arrived at my friend’s shop. There is no doubt; this smoothing plane can make ultra thin shavings as it should and shown on the post card photo. This tool is part of a Woodworking friend’s collection. This is the latest version of the No. 4 Wood River plane the V3 sold by Woodcraft. These planes are based on the Stanley Bedrock design and are excellent planes. The June 2011 issue of"Fine Woodworking" issue# 219) had a review of 14 smoothing planes. They named the WoodRiver No. 4 plane"Best Value" And said: The WoodRiver No.4. V3, felt and performed like a first-rate tool with excellent results. The machining is clean and accurate. This plane is as heavy as the bronze Lie Nielsen and is an excellent smoothing plane. It is hard to believe how good it is for the price. Woodcraft currently sells them for $145. But are sold out until late April, and indicate there may be a price increase when they do come in. For sale is a vintage hand held Ironcast Ice Shaver. There is no makers mark so I can not say where it was manufactured. I would assume the U.S. It is in very good condition. It does have some rust on the top and side. The blade is rusty but there are no nicks on the cutting edge. The setting screw is also rusted and I am unable to adjust the blade. The overall length is 6 inches and is 2 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches wide and weighs Approx. 2 Lbs. Please review the photos for the best description and ask any questions you may have. My friend said that its light weight. Wooden grip feel and excellent cuts made this a favorite plane. It could also be set-up as a miniature jointer plane for small and short work pieces. The maker is a mystery, but the initials, L.R are stamped into the front. Other than some light tearout of the body Curly Maple, the crafting of this plane is very good.
