This is a full set of circuit boards for the stop tabs on a Hammond T212 electric organ. It is likely that they were also used on other Hammond tonewheel organs. The circuit board PNs are 124-000014. 124-000015, 124-000016, 124-000018 and 124-000181. Mounting clips are included. They were salvaged from a non-working instrument in an elderly person's shed. Supreme Model 599 A 599A Vacuum Tube Battery Set Tester, Fixed Tested ALL WORKS
Here is a repaired. Recapped and fully working, very vintage, Supreme 599A Tube& Set Tester. I fixed and calibrated the tube emission test section of the instrument. The tube tester works well. The meter movement is very nice and all tube sockets(except the Hytron) were tested. The sockets are all tight with no intermittents. I didn't check the noise test because I don't have the right headphones. The short/ leakage test works fine. This tester will do a good job of testing older tubes including 4-pins such as 01A. It does not have a 9-pin subminiature socket. So it won't test any of those newer tubes. I fixed the set tester section of this instrument. But did not calibrate the set tester. The set tester includes an AC/ DC Volt Meter, DC milliamp meter, Ohm meter, dB output meter and battery tester. I checked every function ... moreand range, and surprisingly the instrument is in the ball park. Probably not far off from where it started in terms of accuracy. which wasn't all that great to begin with. Aside from the battery tester, every tech would probably reach for their DMM first. Included is a bound copy of two tube test charts. Less Popular/ Obsolete and Supplement 248A. Also included is a schematic and operating instructions for the Supreme 589A. The 589A is just like this tester without the Volt-Ohm-Milliamp(VOM) or dB meter. It's got the tube and battery testers which are the parts you're most likely to use. You'll have to figure out how to use the VOM& dB meter on your own. It's not that hard. The case isn't great. But it's still in one piece and solid. The latch and hinges are good but the original leather strap handle is missing. The grid cap is very nice and wire is new. the back panel of the case is warped where the original battery was mounted. I replaced the battery holder. This unit isn't 100% original because I replaced what was missing or not working. The faceplate is in pretty good condition with only minor marks. This is a no minimum. No reserve auction for a bullet proofed, extensively tested 100% working complete Joust 2 PCB set, CPU board, video board and sound board. Note. This auction does NOT include the power supply board and heat synch or any of the typical metal PCB mounting plates that Williams used for their games. The 3 AA batteries are NOT included. However this function has been tested and is working as it should. You can view two videos of the game booting up as it should(I had multiple Joust 2 PCB's. These videos are of the exact PCB set for auction here) You are welcome to come by my place and see the boardset working. This boardset has been"bullet proofed" with the following steps: +All socketed chips were removed. +All socketed chips had each pin/leg scrapped with an exacto knife on both inside and outside to remove ... moreany build up or corrosion. +All socketed chips were brass wire brushed on sides. Inside and outside for a final leg/pin clean up. +All PROMs and EPROMs were checked for consistent readings and compared and verified to the current MAME ROMs. +All 4116 RAM were individually tested for at least 15 minutes on a RAM tester. +All socketed chips were repopulated. +Every pin of every socket was confirmed good by testing continuity from the leg of the socketed IC on the parts side to the solder point of the socket pin of the socket on the solder side of the board. +All wiring harness connection points on the boards had solder reflowed to eliminate any previous cold solder points at the connector points on the boards. This boardset was extensively tested with the following steps. On a real Joust 2 cabinet, not just a test bench: +Board was run for 8 consecutive hours on. All self tests good at the start and at the end of the test. All sounds worked. Games were played at least every hour. All controls and everything performed normally. I am not sure why the light started working and it may or may not come one after the item is received. Both the P-304 preamp and T-4087 Tuner are also in good condition with no major dings or dents but the side plates have been removed for rack mounting and we do not have them. I am guessing by the style of box that these were made in the 1950's. Perhaps a Marx Expert could let us know this. Back from the Good Old Days when Marx Toys were made in the USA! These Marx Original Boxed Accessories are highly prized. Are in high demand from Postwar Marx Collectors, and are getting harder to find and more expensive as time goes on. I would rate this set at Very Good condition. I will try to provide an accurate description: All 3 lights were tested and the bulbs work fine. The original wires have good insulation and are plyable. All 3 lights have had one of their mounting holes enlarged slightly by drilling so they could be screwed to the layout. 2 of the lights have a ... morelittle bit of green paint residue on the bottom from where they were installed on a layout. The Police Light has a ding on the post on the side opposite the call box. The original box is complete with all flaps and original insert. But is somewhat wrinkled and discolored.
