From a Heathkit catalog I found online: The IOA-4510-1 calibrator(Figure 3) was originally designed for the IO-4510 10 MHz scope. Produced from 1974 through 1981. It sold for $14.95 in 1977 and for $17.95 in 1981. This calibrator is just a circuit board with square-wave outputs from 1 KHz to 1 MHz The 1 KHz is adjustable from 0 to 4.7 V peak-to-peak. Power is derived from the oscilloscope under test. Signal selection is through a shielded cliplead provided with the kit. I have not tested this. But it appears in good condition. If you buy it and it doesn't work, ship it back and I'll refund your purchase price, minus what it cost me to ship it to you. The test lead shown is original and comes with it.

Hi All! Thanks for looking at my listing! I've had this Heath calibrator since the mid-Eighties. I bought it from Heath when I went down there to buy some other stuff. I am the original builder and the calibrator has seen very little use as you can see from the photos. It's a late kit. You can tell that because the BNC cable that is usually seen on these pieces was replaced with an RCA connector. You could just as easily put a BNC in it's place. Anyway. This is built the way it came from Heath. I didn't change it out. As you can see in the photos, the voltage output is accurate and so it the timing generator. That is my Tek 2336 scope that is hooked to the calibrator, so you know it is working and at specs. What I don't have with it is the original manual. I loaned it to somebody and it never came back, so what is with ... moreit is a copy from the net. The circuit is identical, except for the output jack for the timing generator. The manual shows a piece of cable with a BNC connector. This thing looks and works like new as I said before. There is one little scratch on one end and it is just in the paint.
