Metrotech 810DX Utility Locator
For sale by owner: Metrotech 810DX in very good condition. Works as designed. The Transmitter, locator, carry case, clamps, operators manual and CD are included. As to condition, the unit shows signs of normal use and has a few spots where the marking paint overspray contacted it. I recently used it to locate the water lines on my farm and found that the unit was very accurate and the depth reading was most helpful. Payment by Paypal is preferred, if other payment is used the unit will not ship until funds are received. Shipping is $50.00. Has not been tested on an actual underground cable. I received these in a lot of obsolete/damaged test equipment, and as such am selling them for parts/repair. This is a Vivax-Metrotech 810DX Underground pipe& cable locator kit. This is a complete kit with transmitter. Receiver, case and some accessories. These are used to locate and trace wires, pipes and cables underground. Used in many industries. All components are in very good condition with extremely light signs of wear. This is the nicest pre-owned locator I've come across. There is very little wear on the unit and everything is in excellent shape. The transmitter operates off of six standard D-Cell batteries and powers on perfectly, the buttons properly adjust the transmission level of the unit. The receiver operates off of eight standard AA-cell batteries. The receiver also powers on perfectly and has a screen that is in perfect shape with no defects to report. Receiver powers on perfectly and picks up the signal from the transmitter ... morewith no issues. The audio works properly on the receiver and can be turned on/off. The receiver also has a backlight that lights up as well when turned on. Transmitter and receiver have a fixed 83kHz frequency. No batteries are included.
