This is an Acterna/JDSU/Wavetek SDA-5000 Stealth Digital Analyzer. These are normally used by cable/data installers to test and diagnose coaxial cables for cable TV. Internet and more. Unit is in good condition with scuffs. Scratches and wear from normal usage. There are some scratches on the plastic overlay over the screen, none of which really interfere with the visibility of the unit. All connectors on the top of the unit are in good shape. All buttons are in good shape with light wear, most printing is easily readable on all the buttons(only the power button is worn) Several options installed, they are listed& pictured below. The unit powers on properly. The screen is in great shape with no missing pixels or lines. The backlight works properly. I reset the unit to factory-default settings and performed a basic transmitter calibration ... morewhich passed with no issues. I was able to navigate through various menus and screens and view/change settings. There's a sticker on the site of the unit showing it was last calibrated in 2009. Options Installed: Version: 3.2 Reverse Sweep PathTrak Field View QAM Option B(6 MHz) Please note that the battery included is used and sold with no guarantees on life or longevity. The battery has some cracks on it(near the locking clip) and it's missing two screws. It's a NiMH battery. So I used a standard NiMH charger to charge it up. Once charged I was able to power the unit on with battery power alone, but once again, it's a used battery that is sold as-is. No charger included.
