Powermatic 16 inch Planer 7.5 HP No reserve
This planer is built the way they used to be built. It works great and does not move around the floor when planning heavy wood. It has a Balder 7.5 HP 3 phase motor and also has a phase converter so it can be used on 3 phase power or normal 220 volt single phase. The motor alone is worth almost as much as I am asking for the planer. This is a no reserve auction so if anyone bids the planer will be sold. It is in excellent shape but is sold as is. Powermatic Model 64S Tablesaw
I got this saw at an estate sale and have never personally used it. I turned it on and it sounds great. Its a fairly clean saw and looks like it didn't get used too much. The biggest problem with the saw is that the black L metal piece in the back is bent and needs to be replaced. Because of the bend the saw guide that slides along the L metal can't go very far to the right. Where you see it in the pics is about as far as it can go. I don't think the metal can be bent back because the guide needs a perfectly straight piece of metal to slide along. The only other minor things I noticed is that its missing one of the small allen bolts in the back that holds the motor on and its missing the screws that hold the metal piece that goes around the blade. I don't have the blade guard for it. I only have what you see in the pics. The ... moresaw may have other minor things missing or damaged but this is all I noticed. As far as condition goes the pics say it all so zoom in and take a closer look. The saw is local pick up only and is located in Ventura Ca. Model 1B16. This is one of the freshest mid-century toasters as far as condition that I`ve ever encountered: The chrome is great throughout. All of the brown Bakelite handles and controls are as new, and mechanically it`s as fresh as a daisy- including of course the oh-so-cool automatic lowering system(my guy"Phil the Genius" went through it and pronounced it perfect mechanically) The cord is original and like new; this unit was apparently used sparingly and carefully. This cutter head came from a Powermatic#60 jointer. It is complete with bearings. Knife inserts and three used blades. I recently replaced the cutter head with a helical cutter head. The bearings are in excellent condition. The used blades have never been sharpened but they are quality blades and would give like-new performance if sharpened. Please note that the Powermatic#60 came with two different cutter heads. Mine has the ¾” shaft and is 11.25 inches long. The other cutter heads were 5/8” shafts and were less than 11 inches long. Hello, I am selling my working Powermatic 66. 10" Left-titling saw. It has a 5hp, 230V, 3 phase motor and includes a 53" Beismeyer fence. The saw is working and was used at a small cabinet making shop. I live in the Danvers. Massachusetts and would be willing to transport the item for an additional fee after the purchase, or the saw can be picked up from the site.
