I have a nice used GE Ericsson MVS mobile VHF radio. It comes with the transceiver. Mounting bracket, mic. According to the internet this is a 40 watt 16 channel VHF 150-174 mhz radio. There are several sites that talk about mods to use this on 2 meters ham/ amateur radio. Combination number is NPH20 and end of FCC id is MVSH3B. Please research this. I have not used this or tested it it was pulled from state vehicles when they upgraded to a trunking system several years ago. Sold as-is no returns. I will be listing another from the same fleet as well as a remote kit for the MVS radios in other auctions.

Items recovered locally. Untested and sold AS IS. This auction is for a Pair of Motorola Spectra MBR43KME1170AD Locomotive& Railroad Radios for P/R. These came in with a bunch of other radio equipment. There was initially three of these, but one had a repair tag on it that said the front panel was missing, which it was, so we just tore that one apart for recycled material. One of these radios in this lot had a note on it that said GOOD, so just assuming it is good. Other one didn't, but it also didn't have any repair tags on it. There is no way I can even begin to test these out since there was no power source that came with them to even power them up. Also, there were no other items that came with it, like cords, mics, etc, so just selling as a parts/repair lot even though they might work just fine. I did a little research, and ... morethis could be right or wrong, but is what I found on the internet. The letter/number sequence of MBR43KME1170AD indicates that it was a Canada manufacture(MB) and the R designation means it is a Railroad radio. These radios are used in the railroad locomotive cabs for communication. These are possibly the Astro Locomotive Spectra Cab Railroad Radios, with VHF band for 136- 174(though one thing I read said you can't have that wide?
