This is a rare antique store display from the 1920's. It came from a store that was closed in the mid-seventies. And had been sitting dormant since that time. Full of"stuff" the store was purchased last year and cleared of all goods prior to renovating and conversion of the store to a modern retail store. Anyway, I was able to buy some things from this old store, and this display rack is one item. My guess is it was used as a hat display rack, but it could be used for scarves, gloves, or anything else that can be fit onto it. Good luck!

Vintage Industrial Antique Clothing Rounder Rack Cast Iron 1900s Japanned
You're looking at a rare and ORIGINAL antique industrial"rounder" rolling clothing rack manufactured in the early 20th century. This exceptional piece features a cast iron leg base on casters. Steel shaft and embossed cast iron arms holding the hoop. The original and bright Japanning(copper oxidize effect) is present on the upper section of the rounder as well as the finial. This item is in wonderful condition and very sturdy. As you can see in pic#12, there is a small break in one of the iron arms which could be easily repaired or left alone as it doesn't affect the strength of the rounder.
