This Mitsubishi Heavy Industries container was built according to shipping standards, and was purchased from a local company that specializes in moving and servicing these containers. This container can be used for safe and secure on-site storage, overland transportation, or can be customized into any number of practical uses. I have seen containers like this used at restaurants during the peak holiday season(for stocking up on holiday dinner storage) and by many types of businesses for either refrigerated or non-refrigerated storage. We have used it for refrigerated storage inside our warehouse for about 10 years. And although it still runs, it is an older model and we haven't been doing the same volume of business ... moreas before, so we have been using it more for basic storage in the last year or so. The door handles have holes that make it easy to padlock shut if you plan to use it for outside storage needs. This unit is being sold as is. You will see in the picture that we painted a black square on the left door- it's actually a chalkboard surface that we used to mark on. There is some cosmetic damage(bent sheet metal) to the lower inner corner of both doors, which we have not bothered to repair since it has not impacted functionality.
