Wheel measures approx. 6" tall and it is 3" wide and the whole assembly is approx. 7 1/2" tall and the base measures approx. 5 1/4" X 7 1/4" This wheel is a monster it weighs almost 35 lbs. by itself. This is a cast iron caster. 5" diameter. This is a fixed caster, the wheel turns but it is not a swivel caster. I would guess it came off from an industrial cart. You could use it with others to build a new cart, replace one on an existing cart or use it as an art piece.

But is the same size height and width which is 1 1/2' They all came from the same estate.There is some rust and pitting.They could use a cleaning there is some grease and oil.The unmarked does not have bearings I don't know if it did originally or not, but it seems to be in good working order. This is a nice old set of caster wheels. They are made of cast iron. They all match. They are marked with numbers. But will need to be cleaned with degreaser before you can read the numbers. They have grease and grime, but will clean ok. There are no cracks. Each caster weighs approx. 4 pounds. They all swivel and roll smooth. Set of 4 old Darnell 2 1/2" cast iron swivel casters. 3 are in good condition. One has a piece of the wheel broke and the flange is broken, it is also missing the brass tag. The flanges are all JP Ward flanges and the broken one would be easy enough to replace. These are very heavy, strong casters. Each one weighs over 2 pounds and the set of 4 is just shy of 10 pounds. You won't find a modern caster that will stand the test of time like these have. Patent number 1,471,307. All still swivel and work well, even the chipped one. They will clean up. Offered for sale is this set of four unused Bond heavy duty multidirectional tripod dollies. The bodies are cast semi-steel with 1 1/4" deep center hole measuring 1 3/4" at the top and 1 1/4" at the bottom. The wheels are 2 1/2" semi-steel. Overall height is 4 1/4" Diameter is 12" Side measurement is 10" Each dolly has 525 pound capacity. These dollies have been in storage a long time so we cleaned them up. Installed new bearings and painted them. They are truly in new condition and priced considerably below MSRP. When you need to move just about anything with posts or even without posts these dollies are real people savers! They are compact triangular shaped dollies. These are placed under each corner of the article you intend to move; once all the dollies are in place you simply roll your article through ... moredoorways.
