The wheel mounting holes are approx. to the 1/16" 3/8" round and 3 3/4" on center on one side, and 2 1/4" on center on the other side. They were made by The G.P. Clark Co. Windsor Locks, Conn. U.S.A. and appear to be unused. They weigh 3 pounds each and have 3 separate markings on them. The first marking is stamped on the wheel wall along with G.P. Clark Co. It is the number 3-12. The second marking is stamped at the base of the wheel caster, it is the number 0212. These small casters are approximately 3.75" tall with wheels 1" wide and about 1.75" diameter. There are four 1/4" dia. holes in each mounting plate. All casters are identical other than one wheel having a chip on one side of the axle bearing area- it still functions normally.

Here is a great set of industrial. Very heavy duty application, cast iron casters. The wheels themselves are cast iron, 6" in diameter, and 2" wide. They are each mounted on a swivel plate, the plate measures 5 1/2" x 5" Each caster stands about 7 1/2" in height. I can see Bassick 6 on each caster, and it also looks like the number 8261 is imprinted on the wheels. These casters are definitely for a heavy duty application. Each caster weighs 11 lbs. As can be seen in the pictures, there are scratches in the gold finish on each caster, all in the same places, but this, in no ways, impacts the function of these casters. There is also a bit of rust in some areas, but once again there is no impact on performance. All of the casters move freely on the attached swivel plates. Four cast iron industrial Bassick casters acquired at an industrial salvage auction. The Bassick Caster Company manufactured casters in Bridgeport. CT and is no longer in existence. These casters are huge and from what I have learned, I believe they probably came from an industrial factory cart. The iron wheels measure 3-1/2" in diameter and each caster weighs well over 6 pounds. They all roll and swivel as they should. Each has a grease fitting and the ball bearings can be seen under the edge of their enclosures. They are marked in more than one place with the manufacturer's name; and the part#477 is prominently stamped on one end of the bases. There are other numbers in various places which are likely part numbers for other components. There is heavy patina/rust and minor visible wear to the wheels. Up for auction is a great set of 4 vintage swivel casters. They are in very good shape! Two of them have bearings and two do not have bearings but they all work as they should with no problems. They have surface rust but could easily be cleaned up or kept the way they are for a vintage look. This old caster is made of cast iron. Has three holes offset in the wheel. Mount plate has 5 bolt holes around edge. Wheel measures 3 1/2" in diameter. Total height for caster is 4 1/8" Plate measures 4 5/8" x 2 7/8" at widest point. Shows its age and some minimal surface pitting but no major damage. Breaks or cracks. Very solid. This is a nice old set of caster wheels. The wheels are all cast iron and the frame is a very heavy metal. They all match. They are marked Fairbanks. There are no cracks or chips. We have cleaned most of the grease and grime from this set. But they still need a little rust removed. Each caster weighs approx. 2 pounds. They all swivel and roll smooth. The base has ball bearings and the wheel has a hole made for oiling. They measure approx. 3 1/2 inches tall. The wheel measures approx. 1 1/4 inch wide and approx. 2 7/8 inches across. You are bidding on a partial cart with iron wheels. This was a cart but has been cut down. Do not know what it actually was used for. The wheels do move. Pin can be pulled out from the wheel and axle can be pulled through, if you would like the wheels by them self for a project. Space on inside of the wheel to the other wheel is approx. 12 1/2 inches. This stands 11 inches in height to top of handle to the floor. Width of each wheel is approx. 3/4 inches. The wheels measure 4 3/4 inches across. This looks to be varnished with a finish.
