Known problems are that the blade welder does not work and has some surface rust and stains on the table. The photos shown are recent photos and I tried to capture all defects and flaws. Marvel No. 8 Vertical Metal Band Saw For sale now is this used Marvel No. 8 Vertical Metal Band Saw. This saw is used and quite a bit older and it shows it from wear and tear. I didn't really see much in the way of major damage that would affect usability. The unit is very dirty and oil and covered with metal shavings from prior use and could use a very good cleaning. But the bandsaw blade didn't move. Or only moved very slowly. I gave it ... morea bit of a push on one of the wheels and then it finally started moving properly. I think it is a bit stiff from unuse. It made a bit of a vibration sound at first. But it mostly went away after running for a couple of minutes. It likely just needs to be fully cleaned and lubricated. Though we cannot really guarantee that there might not be an issue. The whole bandsaw assembly moves properly with the handwheel on the side of the unit and it has 18" of travel that it can move. When the blade is fully back. There is 26" between the blade and the edge of the table. The table is also 34" wide. Includes a lubricating sump pump and a sump, though we haven't tested it out. This unit is quite heavy and it can be shipped by freight. But shipping will be fairly expensive. We also can deliver within a reasonable distance of 24073 for about $1/roundtrip mile. For sale is a Used Buehler Model 10-1030 3 hp 1755 rpm 12.0" Diameter Abrasive Chop Saw. 2.00" Max Diameter work peice but I am unsure how thick is max wheel thickness, this is currently 450 volt wired but can run lower voltages. The window handle the weld has broken but the handle is here and in the photos, and I just cut a pc of Aluminum Plate to replace the missing cover. The cabinet is lighted and the light works, the coolant system is built into the base with recirculation pump and works well.
