Up for bid is a vintage Sawmaster hack saw that I found in a garage clean out. I just don't have the heart to scrap it but at the same time I don't have any use for it so hear it is. It is from the 1950's or 1960's and still works but you will need to find or make the front blade mount or make one it also doesn't have a blade. over all it seams to be all their and it looks like the original motor and cord and for the age it is in good shape. This saw is HEAVY so ill have to create it for shipping. HYD-MECH DM-8 Horizontal bandsaw Very rare to see a used Hyd-Mech DM-ANYTHING for sale anywhere. This is my baby and I am finally parting with it since I cannot justify keeping since my shop has closed down. This is the DM-8 model double-mitering metal cutting bandsaw. It is rock-solid and can cut a sliver off of a 3" stainless exhaust tube as well as solid stock leaving a darn near burr-free finish! What makes this particular saw even more rare is that it is"220V SINGLE PHASE" I have changed all the fluids. New chip wheel, new blade installed, new seals in head tension cylinder, etc. Fluid was over $100 but I only believe in OEM recommended products. Saw runs beautifully. You are looking at a used. Precision sectioning machine made by Allied High Tech Products in Rancho Dominguez, CA. It is a model 4000 and the Allied part number is 70-10000. Overall dimensions are approx. 18"H x 21"D x 22"W and the weight is 73lbs. We used this saw for many years to cut all types of metals and various blades(4-6 inch) are available to cut different materials. It is a wet saw and the finished cut is very good. It has a 1/8 HP variable speed motor(500-3000 RPM) 1/2 gallon coolant reservoir, plexiglass cover, adjustable table, vice and blade drive. HABERLE H350 COLD CUT SAW 14 INCH 350 MM
This is a Haberle H350 Cold Cutting Saw. Runs on 220 three phase power. 14 inch. 350 mm blade will cut up to 4 inch square. The saw is in very good condition. Has some knicks in the table and vise but nothing that would affect its use. It came out of a custom door company and was mainly used for cutting door frames out of square tubing so it has not had heavy use. We cleaned up all the accumulated metal chips inside and out and gave it a coat of industrial paint. Also rebuilt the coolant pump, added a new blade and motor starter. There is no play in the blade and it cuts accurately from 0-45 degrees in both directions. We found that by using a small square between the back fence and the blade when setting the position of the blade is the best way to make the straightest cut. It is very simple, two socket screws free the table then rotate ... morethe head where you want it, set the square against the back fence and and move the saw slightly to touch the other edge of the square to the blade. You could use the numbers to get a good cut but this way puts it right on the money. I will include the square. The best thing about a good heavy cold saw like this is that you get clean accurate cuts for excellent fitup, no gaps, saving time. Plus the chips are contained in the saw and there is no dust in the air. The saw is made in Germany Model H350 Series C Serial 19485 BJ 2000.
