The mounting plate measures 3 5/8" X 2 9/16 X 3/32" thick. The wheels appear to have been used on a smooth concrete or tile surface as there is no holes or chunks missing from the wheels. The two wheels swivel with ball bearings and the other two are stationary. I tried to show any defects with the pictures and I have to comment on one of the bases are discolored but it no way affects the performance of the caster. They are actually pretty bright and shiney. The poly wheels measure 3-3/4" in diameter and each caster weighs well over 6 pounds. the over all hieght is just over 5 inches. Tread width is 1.5 inches while the wheel is about 3.75" diameter. If you need a better measurement, please ask. auction is for ALL FOUR casters as pictured They all roll and swivel as they should, each has a grease fitting and the ball bearings can be seen under the edge of their enclosures. You are bidding on an older, heavy duty set of Noelting-Faultless Casters. The balls and wheels measure about 2" across and seem to be made of heavy duty rubber. Aside from dirt and general wear. They seem to be in nice shape. The tops are covered(hooded) and have ball-bearing type swivels that all move easily. The casters themselves also move with ease. These apparently were made in Evansville, Indiana, and I guess they are older. I picked them up in a box of stuff at an antiques auction. Two are"ball" type and two are"wheel" type. They were together when I got them. I assume they are a set that went to something with differing casters on the front and back. I am not positive. You get what you see. Set of 4 old Darnell 2 1/2" cast iron swivel casters. 3 are in good condition. One has a piece of the wheel broke and the flange is broken, it is also missing the brass tag. The flanges are all JP Ward flanges and the broken one would be easy enough to replace. These are very heavy, strong casters. Each one weighs over 2 pounds and the set of 4 is just shy of 10 pounds. You won't find a modern caster that will stand the test of time like these have. Patent number 1,471,307. All still swivel and work well, even the chipped one. They will clean up. Repaint and work great for the right project. Please ask any questions or concerns.

These casters came off of large steel grocery store produce racks/carts. I have rolled each of them around by hand. And they all roll smooth and swivel great. Until they are used with heavy loads, it is hard to tell if they are operating perfectly and"smoothly" We use these to build our rolling warehouse racks. And they work great under pretty heavy loads. Set of 4 Plate Swivel Caster 3 Inch Hard Rubber Wheel Black Casters 2 with Brake
This is a gently used set of 4 plate swivel casters with 3 Inch hard rubber wheels. Here are the details: The swivels have ball bearings The wheels are 1 1/4" wide 2 of the casters have brakes on them. The mounting plates measure 3 1/8" x 4 1/8" I am not sure what the rated load capacity is but they came off a 7' tall steel network equipment enclosure so in know they are pretty sturdy. They are in very good condition with no flat spots and hardly any wear. Winning bidder pays actual shipping cost as shown in listing details. I am happy to combine shipping on multiple items. Set of 4 Swivel Stem Casters with 3" black Wheels & 2" Grip Ring Stem
Work great. Just have some nicks. Scratches, and scuff marks from use. The wheels are about 3" wide. The width of the stem is 7/8" and the length of the stem is 2" Two wheels have brake.
