These coasters look like they are made of copper because of the oxidation and a magnet will not stick but I'm not sure. They are 2 inches in diameter and are marked Satellite by Shepherd. Vintage Shepherd Brass BALL CASTERS Pair of Round Furniture Wheels
Up for auction is a"pair" of vintage 2" Brass Shepherd Furniture Ball Casters. They came off a 1960's piece of bedroom furniture. These casters have a 1-5/8" straight shaft with a spiked end piece(that goes into the piece of furniture for stabilization. They roll very smoothly and have minimal wear- some scratches and marks you'd expect on a 50+ year old caster. Because I'm shipping this item in a small flat rate box. I will include 2 other casters free- one does not roll as smoothly as it should(oil might help) and one has a 3/4" crack in it and still rolls.
