In my search on the internet I've found there are a lot of LARGE sized versions of this same machine. This one would be perfect for sealing food for freezing(with the correct type of plastic wrap) or you can seal or re-seal items like Christmas or Holiday items ... morethat don't need to be exposed to the dust of your attic when not in use. This would be great for sealing kids crafts. Or use some bubble wrap to seal your items. I believe you can also order bag style film or just make them yourself like I did. With a 12 inch heat impulse that automatically seals and cuts in seconds. You are able to seal up home products- this is not an industrial machine for the office that will take up a lot of space. Don't put any precious items in your attic again without protecting them with this shrink wrap machine. It's well worth the effort to protect your items. It comes with a roll of 10 inch long clear plastic wrap on a heavy cardboard roll. The plastic wrap is thin as you would see on a CD or DVD but there is about 1 inch of it on the roll. This sealer is on a stand and is waist high. We have used it daily for about 2-3 years and it has never broken or malfunctioned. We have never even had to replace the heating wire! It has been great. It has a time control and a light that illuminates when you step on the pedal- when the time is reached the light goes out so you know when to release the pedal. So you can seal through a multitude of thicknesses. We use it to seal polypropylene bags. Fully functional. Fully operational, works great. Email with any questions.
