I actually had fun playing with this machine once I figured out what it was used for. I purchased this machine in a storage unit and it's been in my garage for a long time. I decided to pull it out and look it up and realized what it was and remembered that I also had seen a big roll of plastic wrap. Hmmm. The fun began! I wrapped a book, bottle of water, a box, and some items my husband will be looking for tomorrow morning and scratching his head about. In my search on the internet I've found there are a lot of LARGE sized versions of this same machine. This one would be perfect for sealing food for freezing(with the correct type of plastic wrap) or you can seal or re-seal items like Christmas or Holiday items ... morethat don't need to be exposed to the dust of your attic when not in use. This would be great for sealing kids crafts. Or use some bubble wrap to seal your items. I believe you can also order bag style film or just make them yourself like I did. With a 12 inch heat impulse that automatically seals and cuts in seconds. You are able to seal up home products- this is not an industrial machine for the office that will take up a lot of space. Don't put any precious items in your attic again without protecting them with this shrink wrap machine. It's well worth the effort to protect your items. It comes with a roll of 10 inch long clear plastic wrap on a heavy cardboard roll. The plastic wrap is thin as you would see on a CD or DVD but there is about 1 inch of it on the roll. The total size of the roll. With the cardboard insert, is 6 inches and weighs over 5 pounds. The size of the actual sealant machine is 10 1/2 inches by 4 inches by 18 inches.
