All of the mechanical and functional aspects are in very good condition and the reel feels and sounds very smooth. There are no bent or warped parts. There are some abrasions and scratches on this item(as shown in pictures) Someone has scratched their initials(NFM" NFFM" and what looks like"VIFF" into 3 interior sections on the reel(not visible when reel is operationally assembled) and 2 exterior areas(where it is mostly visible under the right light) Please refer to the pictures(I have documented these 5 areas) The black paint on the interior of the spool is worn and there are several scratches including one of the initialed areas(refer to photo) The top of the drag adjustment knob has 2 small nicks. The other 2 interior areas where the initials occur are approximately 1 inch from the exposed bearings on both sides of the body of the reel. The interior spool side is where it appears to have the"VIFF" There is also the outline of what appears to be some sticker that has fallen off(located next to the exposed bearings in photo) The final areas are on the exterior front and back face of the reel and I did not notice them until I had the reel under the perfect light(I owned this reel for years without seeing this) Also. There is an abrasion on the frame at the bottom of the reel(next to the bottom post) If you are considering buying this reel then you are most likely a serious angler and or collector so please study ALL pictures very closely with the zoom function. Hardy Fibalite Perfection #4 7'2" fiberglass Fly Rod
Here is a Hardy Fibalite#4 7'2" fiberglass fly rod in excellent condition. The only blemish is a tiny scuff on the edge of the female ferrule(see photo 7) this in no way affects the rod but good to point out to collectors. Comes in the original Hardy bag and will be packed in a PVC tube. All the wraps and guides are perfect. The cork is lovely as well. This is quite a rare rod. I must note that whilst rated for a#4 line. I(and others) prefer it with a WF5F or even a WF6F. Super smooth, but just doesn't fit with my current needs.

This is an excellent condition used Hardy 9' 5 weight 4 piece fly rod. I was going to use it as a rod for guiding but ended up fishing it myself. It is a very sensitive rod. It is a very well made and well thought out rod right down to the cork reel seat which shaves even more weight off of this rod. It is a joy to fish. And of course it is in the ever popular 9' 5 weight 4 piece configuration which makes it a very useful rod. I probably fished it 4-5 times. I'm a Hardy dealer and it was new inventory in 2010 and it got fished a handful of times in 2010 but not since. The cork still has some new softness to it. The bag and tube are original but the cap is missing. I will try to hunt that down before the auction closes because I have seen it around. It comes with the box which is in fairly good condition but not new as you would expect, the reel was commissioned for airbrushing after the September 9/11 attacks but the artist was not paid, I purchased it as it is a work of art and have never used it for fishing, it is fit for any display cabinet but like the rod still a usable item that will make an awesome gift for a relative or survivor and would also make an excellent investment for any fine fishing tackle collector, a much better bet than leaving your cash in the bank these days. Hardy LRH spey casting Palakona 14' 3"
This 3/2"The LRH Spey Casting Palakona" rod has casting style guides. Orange wraps, full intermediates(every 1/2" on all sections, blued ferrules with a spring loaded pin to lock it in place when assembled, wood ferrule plugs, and a red rubber button at the base of the rod. The reel seat is cork with a threaded collar that slides down onto the reel foot and is held in place with a threaded ring. The ferrule wraps on both tips are new and one wrap on the stripper is thin copper wire. The varnish is very good and could possibly represent a fresh over-coat. The tips are 1.5" shorter than the butt, and the mid is also slightly longer than the butt. All appear to be made that way and are remarkably straight. This rod comes with the original labeled bag only.

A Hardy Graphite Deluxe Spey Fly Rod. 15' 10. An ideal rod for spring or back end fishing- this is a sinking line casting tool. The rod has the original Hardy rod bag, but no rod plugs. The rod is in good condition, and with a little care and restoration, will be looking brand new again. The rod has been used, there a numerous scratches on the rod, on all sections, saying this there is no dents or deep scratches on the actual rod. It is very light. I think it is only 2.5 ounces. It is hard to find this rod as it is no longer made by Hardy Brothers. It is a 3 piece with the ferrule plugs in the top two sections. Thanks for stopping by for a look. What I have is a Hardy Proaxis 9' 8wt fly rod. The Proaxis is the saltwater version of the acclaimed Zenith line. The Proaxis uses the same Sintrix material that is the enhanced 3M Powerlux resin. This rod comes with rod. Ferrel plugs, rod sock, rod tube, rod tube sock and warranty card. Everything as if you opened it day one. Aside from soiled cork, this rod is in excellent condition. Fished for only one season, this split time with a spinning rod. I would say this rod was fished maybe 15 times. The rod is a rocketship. I would suggest you line up to traditional 9wt line or use the Rio Outbound. Airflo 40 or Wulff Ambush in 8wt.
