This is a 404 turbo diesel out of a 7700 John Deere combine. It is basically complete. Alternator,starter,flywheel& injection pump are all included. I do not know the year of the combine or engine. Combine serial# was 315713 H& the engine# is 6404TH-01 573897RG. Hour meter on machine read 5400 hours& it did work. I do not know if anything has ever been done to the engine. It was in a combine that was not used anymore& they decided to get rid of it. I bought the engine& a decent set of 28L-26 tires. I pulled the engine myself. I got there& fired the engine up. It ran very good& had no noises& did not smoke. Did not have blow by either. Oil level was good. Held good oil pressure after warmed up. I know these engines were used in many different things, combines, tractors, wheel loaders& probably power units. ... moreMay have to change front or back plates or even pan but same general block& such. This is a good complete engine. Pump is worth quite abit by itself. This ran good& seemed just fine but it is sold as is. There is no shipping on this item, you will have to pick it up yourself. This is a good running mid'70s British leyland 154 loader tractor with a 27 hp gas engine. This Engine starts easy and runs good. Three point hitch and 2 speed pto work good. Loader hydro working. The loader has been used with the hay fork primarily and very little use with the bucket so. With this said, it has not had much stress on the loader and tractor frame. The A/C blows cold air and the radio works as it should. It has two rear remote hydraulic valves and a working PTO to work a variety of attachments. The only negatives that I see in the tractor are the tires don't match. One of the front tires has been replaced and has lots of tread left and the other is more worn. But all have life left in them. 1958 Masey Ferguson 202 Industrial Tractor with loader. 5' King Kutter brush mower, 7 1/2' Meyers Snow Plow and tire chains. 40 HP, gas engine, 2WD. The loader has full up& down and bucket tilt up& down hydraulics. When connected, the snow plow has full hydraulic up& down and blade angling. A front snow plow is so much easier to clear snow than a loader or rear blade. There is an extra set of sharpened blades for the mower. The engine was overhauled 6 years ago and runs great. There are about 3000 hours on the tractor. Power steering works great. There was a recent oil change in the engine and transmission. The undependable generator has been replaced with a very dependable alternator. The loader bucket is 42" wide and has a capacity of 1/3 cu yd and is spec'd for 2000 to 3000 pounds. 1957 Case 300 Tractor with loader, plows, chains, and manual
Addendum: Sharing a photo for Father's Day! This was taken in 1985. My father and his beloved Case 300 along with my two sons. Long since grown and gone. I was looking through some photos and found this. Seemed appropriate for the day and circumstance. Sadly. We are selling our memories. This is the only new tractor that my parents ever owned; I grew up with it. We are not mechanics nor collectors so will not be giving this tractor the repairs that it needs. It is certainly worth more than parts, but it was the only category that fit. It is not"fully operational" Thus, I had to choose"for parts or not working" Sold as is. If you have questions, ask. Being sold with the original manual. Loader, and plows, plus the chains that Dad added a few years later. We used this tractor all last summer to mow our hay with a sickle ... moremower(not included) It picked up a noise in the motor at the end of the season. An experienced mechanic did not take it apart enough to fully diagnose the problem, but suspects it to be one of these: a cam, a bearing, or a rod. I may have some extra plow points; if so, I will include them; am looking for them. Gas engine had one re-build maybe 20 years ago. The loader has not been used in probably 25 years. It was kept inside until last winter when the frame was left out. Two hydraulic cylinders are included along with the arch that goes over the tractor platform. The tractor itself. Plows and chains have always been kept inside. I have one great photo of this tractor last summer but is on a cell phone that is no longer connected and I've not been successful migrating it to the new system. This is a small tractor by current standards. But has been a sure-footed, little workhorse here on our family farm. This is a 1971 Massey ferguson 135 Tractor. Has a Freeman trip bucket loader. 3 cylinder perkins gas engine. 40hp. 6 speed transmission, no multi-power or double clutch. This is a 135 special so it was a base model for the 135 series. This tractor runs good and most everything works. Has 55psi oil pressure. I just put over $500 in parts in it. Has good tight steering. Brakes work. Does not include brush hog or trailer in the pictures. 1955 John Deere 40C 5 roller Tractor with Henry Loader
This is a 1955 John Deere 40C with 5 roller undercarriage. It has a Henry self-leveling loader with 5 foot bucket. It has 12" street pads. The original pads were 10" and there are still 21 10" pads on the left track. Some of them are worn so that the ends have broken off. The sprockets are good condition. I was using this some each year until a couple years ago when I found that the engine stuck while setting over the winter. It should not take much to get it running again. This tractor must be picked up at my farm near Red Cloud, Nebraska. If you wish to have it shipped all costs and arrangements must be paid for and taken care of by the purchaser. The 674 International tractor was built between 1973-1978. This tractor serial tag is missing and the serial# is unknown. The tractor is 61 PTO horsepower with a Diesel Engine. The lower end was just rebuilt(machined crankshaft and new lower end bearings and seals) The tractor starts easy and run good. It has a Bush Hog 2426T front end loader installed and will be sold with the tractor. Also the front end loader has a QA bale spike that goes with the tractor and loader.
