2 Aermotor water pumps- both are marked WA- 1 Chicago USA- Patents 1143324.1341080, 1740821, 1801061, 1893184, Other Patents Pending- they measure about 2 feet tall and about 14 inches wide- belt wheel is 15 3/8ths inches diameter- stroke length is 8 inches- made to mount a motor on the sloped side(electric or gas powered or wind) one of the pumps has the screws to mount the motor- the other pump does not have the screws- one pump has sucker rod mounting bar, missing on the other pump. Vintage Aermotor Windmill Water Wheel with Tower Farming
This is a beautiful old vintage mill. I had dreams of putting it up but I guess that isn't going to happen. Has an 8' wheel. The pump jack says Aermotor. Chicago on it. A-702 on the housing. The motor says Myers self oiling working head, 6" stroke, patented. The FE Myers& Bros Co. Ashland, Ohio, USA. You can see in one picture that I am pointing to a spot on the pump jack that has been welded. Surface rust but no rot anywhere. Great patina! I have 2 tails here. Looks like someone shot one up with a gun. One says Aermotor on it. I invested a lot in the new spokes for the wheel, new furl arms and many pounds of new nuts and bolts to put this all together. The tower is 40' or 44' I can't remember now. It is in good shape, the whole tower is there except I do not have the cross braces for the tower, otherwise it is ... morethere including the stub tower with mast that you see in the picture. I have put the tower together on the ground and all the angle iron is there. Has been sitting in the barn and not outside. As far as I can tell, the gears have been kept well oiled and are not rusty.
