Powertap 2.4 Wired with DT Swiss Wheel
This is an inexpensive way to get a powertap for your trainer or to get into power-based training. This is a wired Powertap PRO 2.4 mounted on a DT Swiss wheel. It works fine but I got a new bike with a wireless system for Christmas. It was purchased in 2009 and used extensively since with excellent results. As noted above. It comes with a second set of mounts for the hub and computer but only one set for the crank-based cadence. There is a crank magnet included but not shown in the picture. The hub tool is missing but easily replaced. I will send with fresh batteries which will last a few months.

32 stainless spokes from a 1940's Raleigh Wheel. At least it came from a 1940's Raleigh bike and had a Raleigh Pattern steel rim(Westrick) The spokes are 11 1/4 inches. 288 mm, size. They have short, plated, brass nipples. The spoke heads are plain, and of a larger than usual diameter. They do not have R's on them, or flowers, or anything else. Up for auction is a classic Rigida silver aluminum clincher wheel. If you are building a classic bike you would do well to add this wheel to the mix. This wheel dates to mid 80's. It measure 27x11/4 and has 36 holes. These Rigidas were standard stock on Peugeots for this time period. There is plenty of life left on this wheel. It does not currently have any rim tape and you would want to refresh it anyway. This particular rim is single walled and is ready to roll. No hops or flat spots here. This is a old rare pulley we found at an estate sale. First pulley we ever found like it. Just the wood part measures about 4 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. The wheel is brass or bronze. It has a lot of wear and tear. The wood is worn and weathered and the copper metal pin that goes through the wheel is tarnished. They used these for sailboats a long long time ago in the sailboat industry. It would be a great addition to a collection of floats or maritime items! Collectors here is a neat item. It is a stock certificate for the Four Wheel Drive Co. WI. dated 1917. I knew there were a lot of start up auto companies in that era but I did not realize that one was as inventive as to be producing or planning to produce a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The certificate is in excellent condition having only been folded so it will display very well. In doing some research. The fork and tubes are in very good to excellent use d condition. The steer tube measures approx. 7 1/16" long as it has been cut down and includes star nut.
