Clipper Fanning Mill Seed Cleaner No 1B A.T. Ferrell Homestead Equipment Grain
Beautifully decorated Clipper Fanning Mill. This seed cleaner is in very nice shape. The wood is solid and unbroken. The metal is solid and has surface rust only in spots as can be expected. The parts turns and shake the way that they should, The pulleys are in good shape even the leather belt is decent. The motor is not on it anymore, that is easy to find. It has 13 screens all in shiny condition except 2 of the mesh screens, these are rusty not holey, but they feel kind of weak like they would not take heavy use, these are the really fine holed screens. There is wear to the paint in areas and the corners of the wood are worn on the bottom. I have not repaired anything there was no need,except I had to bump out a dent in the fan housing so the fan did not rub it. In doing so I found that bolts to tighten the fan body to the shaft loosen ... moreeasily this is nice for adjusting the fan, and that it slides easily on the shaft. The wooden blades look good also. There are some extra pulleys for changing speeds I assume, and an extra box not sure what for. Shipping can be arranged I have never shipped anything this big. But we can figure it out. I am sure you will be impressed by this fabulous machine! Enjoy! I have another fanning mill. Hand Operated Seed Planter, Corn, Vegetable, No. 306, Wood Handles, Farm
Used. Hand Operated Seed Planter No. 306 with Adjustable Seed Cavity, Wood Handles and Metal; Hopper, Seed Chute and Ground Spade. Nice hand operated seed planter. I don't know the manufacturer or how old it is. Add it to your collection or put it to work! Functions as intended. Ground spade assembly opens and closes and seed enters and drops down the chute from the hopper. Hopper lid closes tightly. There is an adjustable slide for changing the quantity of seed that is able to enter the cavity(and ultimately the seed"hill" each time the handles are operated. Planter is about 34-1/4" in overall length. Hopper is about 8" deep inside. The painted areas are a little worn/chipped but still show pretty good paint coverage overall. There is a split in the metal on both sides of the seed chute where the seed cavity slides ... morethrough as well as a metal"burr" on both sides from the sliding action of the seed cavity against the edge of the seed chute. The wood frame on the side opposite the hopper has some splits on the handle end. These have been professionally glued. Though the splits are still visible(see picture) The two wood frames are slightly misaligned/warped as evidenced in the way the handle bolts line up, looks like the way it was originally manufactured. This does not effect the function of the planter. Please look at all of the pictures very carefully to see the condition and ask any additional questions you may have before placing a bid. John Deere 1850 30ft Grain Drill and Seed Cart
This grain Drill is in really good shape. I have replaced all seed boots w/Hard surface tips, updated closing wheels and arms with new style(60 series) all disk openers and hub baring's and seals have been replaced, seed boot mounting bolt holes have all been drilled and bushings installed to remove any play in seed boots, I have replace all one inch wide press wheels with the thin Needham press wheels, Gauge wheel baring's are all in place, I have plenty of NEW extra parts, like closing, press and gauge wheels, I have an extra spindle for the seed cart, hyd motor for the fan, and a verity of bearing's and seals, 50 row units all have agtron seed sensors(agtron sensor system is a older unit But it does work and can still buy some parts for it I have contact) the 787 seed cart is a 130 bushel two tank air cart w/monitor it is in ... moregreat condition for its age its not rusted in or out I have run very very little fertilizer thru front tank and when I did it was cleaned thoroughly, I have also replaced all the 3in seed tubes w/new and all 50 row unit hoses are in good shape, this cart has two magnetic clutches one for front tank and one for back, its setup to run seed in back tank and fertilizer in front or just seed in both tanks one tank at a time. this drill is ready for the field, I only planted about 1700 acres sense I updated this drill, I would be still running it but no longer needed, buyer ships, Located in South west Arkansas, just south of Texarkana. Kingstar 6yl-80 seed oil press. You can see a slightly larger one like this in operation on youtube by searching for 6yl-100 screw oil press. This particular press has never been used. It is still sitting on the bottom of the crate it came in. But it has suffered some damage to the finish. Hence listed as used. It is a heavy item- probably about 700 pounds. This auction is for three John Deere 1900 Commodity Cart fiberoptic Seed Monitor Controllers. These are Seedstar Seed Monitor controllers for 1900 tow behind/between John Deere Comodity Cart's. I'm fairly certain that all three controllers are actually New but they been on our shelf for so long I'm not certain. All three controllers have been tested. All infa-red fiberoptic lamps come on and they show up on the CAN bus as the correct source ID. These are part number AA43861 controllers and come with two AA43842 CAN bus harnesses. The current part number for these controllers is AA55453 and retails for $4.419.53. All three controllers shown go together meaning the new retail value of this lot is over $12,000. It really is in very good condition except for a bit of rustout on the lower side. A sheetmetal shop could probably roll a new piece in short order although they may only have galvanized metal. It's about 8" wide.9" tall, bottom piece casting#Y2596,bottom ring Y2601-B,cast under side of lid is Patent NOV 28,1893,REISSUED JULY 23,1895. Also Y2678. None of the cast iron pieces are cracked,broke or brazed. I suspect elk are a little scarce in Illinois but that lid is still pretty neat with one on it whether this is going on a machine being restored or just put on the collector shelf.
