Up for auction is a vintage Hobart Meat Grinder model#822 that is dated 1936. The name plate with model& serial number is missing from the top of the motor. I had contacted Hobart directly and sent in these pictures and they resopnded back to me that it is a Model 822 and provided me with a copy of their parts book which they stated was dated 1936. I have not attached a copy of the email I recieved from them. But if you would like a copy of it, please contact me with your request& email address and I will forward on a copy to you. I have tested the machine and it works well. Blades are still shape and cuts the meat with no problem There are some chips in the paint but overall I would rate it as a 7 out of 10 All the attachments pictured come with the machine. This is a vintage Hobart model# 29041 meat grinder. It's in good working condition. It was made by the Electric Manufacturing Co. Troy O. USA. It's 110 volts. Speed 1750, 1/2 HP, phase 1, class 914OFC, and motor 37437. It comes with 3 grinder disc. It has a new plug on the cord but i recamend changing the cord because it is old and brittle. Vintage Large Heavy Duty Meat Grinder, Possibly Hobart?
For auction is a vintage. Large Heavy Duty Meat Grinder with all parts and pan. This item is in good condition for it's age. The body and pan do have typical marks. Dings and scratches to be expected. There does not appear to be any cracks or broken parts. All parts are included as shown. I am unsure of the mfgr. As there are no marks or stamps found. Possibly Hobart? It is very well made. And very heavy. The pan measures approx 14" x 9" The feed tube approx 2-1/2"od. Drive shaft measures approx 5/8"sq x 5/8"L. Mount shaft 1-7/16"Dia x 1-1/4"L. The lock pin hole on mount shaft is approx 7/16" from rear. Grinder body measures approx 6-1/2"L x 6-3/4"T. I do my best to describe my items as accurately as possible. This is for one used Hobart model 4812 meat grinder power drive unit. It is in great running condition. It comes with the grinder unit you see in the pictures. I don't have the pan for it. A new size 12 square drive was installed in it. There was a little damage to the top right rear of the unit, I did a little body work on it. you can see it in the last picture.
