Made of heavy-duty metal. This attachment has a power transfer gearbox with two good gears. The gearbox is 4 inches wide and the total height of the grinding attachment to 6 1/2" The post that would insert into the actual grinding power source is 1" in diameter and it extends 3/4" from the head. The oval opening at the top in which he would put the meat or other product to be ground measures 2 5/8" by 3 3/8" This is a Westinghouse item as the Westinghouse logo is cast onto the side of it. You can see in the photo what pieces are included with this. It is however missing the metal cap that would hold ... morethe blades and auger in place. I just noticed that my photographer did not take a picture of this apart. So the auger is inthere with the two pieces that you see in the pic and there are two gears in the case on the other side. Hollymatic 180A 10 HP 200lb Meat Mixer Grinder 52 Size Head Gemini option
This grinder was taken out of service and is in working condition. It has been tested and there is nothing wrong with it. The grinder was delivered from the factory in December 2011 and not put into service until 2012. It is only 3 years old. The grinder also has the Gemini attachment from the factory which allows it to be hooked to another grinder so the meat only has to be run through one time. This is very hard to find. Not many were made with this attachment. It can also be used as a stand alone grinder, I even have the plate to cover up the attachment hole. The only thing that makes this grinder look different from a brand new one is a small dent where the tub set screw was loose and the tub moved around. I have never seen one of these grinders that did not have these small dents.
