At the time. This oscilloscope was purchased from a knowledgeable seller, unit#3 of 5 units they had available. I had originally intended to learn repair work but that opportunity never materialized. Therefore this scope was never used by me. I selected this particular model after much research and recommendations from industry techs with a history of repairing recent equipment and vintage components. The Tektronix 465B Oscilloscope was considered the industry standard in 100MHz portable oscilloscopes for many years and still remains very desirable today. The unit has a white sticker on top that says"calibrated" ... moreso it's been bench tested for accuracy at some point. I am not familiar with how this unit functions. Therefore the unit must be sold as is, however the unit powers on fine and appears to work as it should. I purchased this with a bad screen and installed a crt and driver pcb out of a tds 520. Passes selftest and everything seems to work properly. This is the first tds scope I've ever worked on and don't have a manual. Although I look at a comparable manual online. Passes selftest and I tried to compensate the probes I used and channel 2 is offset by a very slight amount. see the pictures of the traces.
