Up for auction is the following item: 1 Tektronix 7904A Mainframe oscilloscope with four plugins: Two 7A26. 7B85, and a 7A24 that I kept as a spare. Serial number is BO41236; it has options 02 and 78. Comes with a P6120 probe, too! This current setup makes it a 4-channel oscilloscope. Some of the knobs are a little dirty, as to be expected, but overall, it works great. All of the switches move, the knobs turn, etc. Electrically, it works great. The traces are sharp and bright; the screen does not appear to have any burn. The first screen shot is of a 1mhz wave; the second is 100mhz. The cooling fan sometimes makes a little rattle when you first turn it on, but after about 30 second, it quiets right down. I've had the scope for about 5 years. And it hasn't given me a bit of trouble. The use has been light; I'm just a hobbyist, ... morenot a professional user. So, why would I sell it? Well.it's a big scope, physically, and I just really don't have the room on my bench anymore. I originally purchased it not to be used an as oscilloscope, but to get a 7L14 spectrum analyser plugin for it and use it as an SA, but, well, that just didn't happen, as that's one pricey plugin! So, I need the room, it needs a new home.and here we are. Shipping is a flat 40 bucks to anywhere in the lower 48 states; outside of that. We'll talk. If I can get the shipping cheaper, I will, but it's large and heavy and will take a goodly amount of packing material to get it to you safely. Local pickup is welcome! Item: Up for sale is a BK Precision 1590A Oscilloscope. I have had this scope for 10 years in my garage and only used it a handful of times. I am fluent on its operation and never really got into using it as I intended too. I do not have any leads for it any longer but everything appears to work as intended. The CRT has no burn in. All four signals display on the screen, all buttons turn/press with ease. The handle locks into place easily for carrying or for positioning for use.
